Aisha had slept earlier than usual, she needed to be up and about during the day today and get a few things done. She was contemplating many things that had happened over the last several weeks, one of which was her last connection to Ambrose. It made her sad to know that she couldn't see him if they happen to be in close proximity of each other. It was the really the only thing she had that he had given her and she wanted to keep it and treasure it for always.
Shame on her for offering it to another so they could see someone else. She had done this to herself. She wondered how Ambrose would take seeing her. She had heard things from Mary, knew that things weren't that great. Not only did she fall in love with someone else, a feeling she wasn't sure she had, now she was blood bonded as well to him and she was transferring. All news she was sure to Ambrose. This wasn't going to be a great social visit, she had a lot of guilt to deal with and she only hoped that she wasn't coming off selfish by going to him about something he had gifted her. She knew he was sensitive and she hoped that seeing her again wouldn't open the wounds that she had caused him.
She sighed, it could be avoided in all honesty, but his gift was something she wanted to treasure and never loose. A wonderful memory when she was still walking in the light. She of course traded it for the darker side of the world and she wondered if she would ever find light again. Even in the love she had found it was shrouded in the darkness all around him.
She aparated to Hogsmede and took the flight from there to the tree. She wasn't even sure if Ambrose would be home. If he wasn't then she would know that she was doomed to live with the fact she ruined something precious to her. Her falcon's eyes seemed to tear up for a moment at the thought as she circled the tree from above. She knew not to get close to it unless Ambrose was near. She wondered how she would contact him, if he was even inside. She landed gracefully outside of the tree's reach and looked around.

Ambrose was sitting in the trees, reading a book and chuckling to himself. The book was on some modern divination that explained runic all backwards. He shook his head and was about to turn the page when his eye caught something through the breaks in the branches. Looking up, he blinked...and his smile faded a little.
Aisha...
He recognized the form. He sighed. She circled above and landed nearby. Was she looking for him? Possibly. The Dryad hopped down from the tree and came out from its canopy, looking towards where she was. Getting out of reach of the Willow, he stared at her for a long moment, wondering what she wanted.

Aisha saw him walk out from under the canopy of the tree, she wanted to smile but she couldn't seem to bring herself to it though her eyes lite up a bit as she saw him walking to her. "Beautiful summer day Professor." She said softly as she closed the gap between them somewhat.
She wasn't sure suddenly what to say and her words seemed to have fled her mind as she thought about everything that happened between their last time seeing each other and now. The news Mary brought, the news of herself. She looked up into the sky and stared at the birds and clouds for a moment. "How is your little mini tree holding up?" She asked quietly.

"It is a beautiful summer day...Professor..." His tone is cordial, face passive...but his eyes...the storms raged as he looked at her...
"What has brought you out on this day? I was sure I wouldn't see you until the new school year began two months from now. But here you are. So what can I help you with?"

He skipped right over her question about his gift and she sighed to herself, nope this wasn't easy. His face seemed impassive and his tone off but polite but she could see the storm in his eyes.
"I am sorry to have interrupted your day Ambrose. I wanted to speak about the gift you gave me." She looked from his eyes down to her hand and opened it to show the bracelet "It seems to not be working any longer." She whispered. "It is of my own fault I believe. I removed it for a friend to look at so that she could see Teagan, with her permission of course." She seem to stumble through her words as she spoke looking back up to him.

Ambrose blinked and looked at the bracelet. The one he had given her with his own power flowing through it. Well that was before. Now it just lay there, cold. He glances back up at her and tilts his head. "That would be because you removed it, like I told you not to." He shakes his head. "Why did Teagan not simply show the girl herself?"

Aisha looked at him as he seemed to take it in for a moment. "I wasn't aware she could." She replied to him. "Can you fix it?" She asked him, a plea seemed to be in her eyes as she looked at him.
She really didn't want to loose this part of him. She knew that the future was different, knew that she wouldn't be back here, but she didn't want to leave without this part of her journey here.

Ambrose didn't say anything for a long moment. She...wanted him to fix it. After everything...she wanted him to fix something for her. Do her a favor...
"Why?" he finally said softly as he looked up towards a cloud. "Why do you want me to fix it? Why should I fix it? You left me behind, remember?"

She sighed and followed his gaze up towards the sky, watching a cloud. She wondered which cloud he was watching for a moment. "I know I did." She seemed quite for a moment. "It was a gift. I treasured it because you gave it to me." She said quietly.
"If you don't want to, I understand. I know that I hurt you. I know Mary came by for you Ambrose. I hope it helped. I didn't want you to be hurt as badly as you were." She sighed and sat down in the grass looking down at the lake.

"Yea well...I was." He looked over at her. "Mary came by because I asked her to come by. Send me into floating bliss so I didn't think anymore...because all of my thoughts were filled with you. And even then? I still wanted to think of you..." He sighed and looked out at the lake. "It was a gift from me...and honestly? What am I to you? Aside from not enough?"

Aisha sighed and looked out at the water, it was still, not a single wave from the slight breeze that blew though. "I never said you weren't enough Ambrose."
"I wanted to have moments elsewhere. With other people. Do other things. You knew I wasn't ready for anything serious." She looked out quite for a moment. Maybe a few moments.
"Light, Ambrose." She replied to his other question.

Ambrose was quiet for a long moment before turning and kneeling so he was close to her but could look right into her eyes. "Moments with others. Sure. Tell me...are you doing something serious now?" he asked softly, watching her eyes as the storm brewed behind them.

She looked into his stormy grey eyes. Her pale ones not leaving his gaze. "Yes." She said. He could see her finger, she hadn't removed the ring to come visit him. She hadn't hide it either.

"So essentially...what? Left to find the next person to be serious with. It wasn't that long ago that you left. But you weren't ready then. Ready now. So no, you didn't say I wasn't enough. But the next person must have been. So much so that you're moving..."

"I don't know what you want me to tell you Ambrose." She sighed and averted her eyes for a moment before returning them to her. "I didn't leave you to find someone to be serious with. I wanted to experience other things. I have. Yes it is serious now. Yes I am...Wait? You know about that?" She asked him.
She presumed the school would of mentioned an open position for her post, but she didn't think it would of been so soon.

"Its ok. You aren't the first person to forget that I See things." He shrugs and sits before lying back, looking up at the clouds again. "You know what is terrible? That for a moment...a sliver of a moment? I thought you were here for me. The wind came back to the tree." He looks to her. "But now the wind can't even see the tree..."

She sighed and watched as he laid back. "There is much that has happened since the last time we saw each other Ambrose. I can't change that. I am sorry for giving you false hope." She looked back out to the lake.
"You saw?" She asked him questioningly. "Tell me, please. What did you see?"

"Enough. Resignation letter was sent...flash to you somewhere in the United States. New York I think. The rest is kind of fuzzy in my head past that. But as I said...enough." He looks over at he and catches her eyes. "So are you only back here to get something from me then?"

"I wanted to see how you were doing, apologize, say my farewell. Ask a few other questions, but it seems those are mute at this point. So in essence, I guess if that is how you want to word it, then yes." She replied, her voice seemed distant suddenly.
She didn't know what to expect when she had come, she could of guessed this, but she presumed he could also be much harsher with his words then he was being currently.

He sat up suddenly and looked at her. "Honestly? What did you expect me to say? You leave...then you find someone else to actually have something serious with. So am I just supposed to give you my blessing? Tel you that its ok and I hope you have a happy life?" He sits back. "Tree...queen...now you...am I destined to lose everything i covet?"

"I don't know what you are destined for Ambrose. I am sorry that you have been hurt. That wasn't my intention. The bites, the voice, the blood. It pulled me in, I fell in love. I am sorry you were the one to be hurt by it. I am not here looking for your blessing, if you don't want to give it that is your problem to deal with. I wanted to fix something that was precious to me." She flung the bracelet at him and stood.
"I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I have always just gone with the flow. I always just go where the wind blows and for once I have emotions I don't know what to do with. For crying out loud, I am engaged! I didn't see that coming! I didn't see love in my cards! Moments, sure. Fun, sure. I can't help that I love David. I can't stop myself from feeling how I do. I am truly sorry you were hurt. I wish you could understand that. Keep the bracelet. I have the memories. I just wanted something to remind me of the light, the day, the outside world before it was gone Ambrose. You were that someone to me. If you don't want to be that for me, fine, I understand."
She sighed and rubbed her temples and closing her eyes. "There is darkness everywhere Ambrose." She whispered. "You don't see it, but I am in the middle of it all. I can't get out. I just wanted this reminder." She opened her eyes and looked down at him. "Keep it. I hope the tree reminds you of me and those moments we had. I will remember them. They will be the precious thing I hold onto now. Until they are gone as well. Time seems to steal many things." She was quiet now. Contemplating on whether it was best she just left now.

Ambose catches the bracelet and sighs. "I know there is darkness everywhere. I see it all the time..." He stands and pockets the bracelet before offering her a hand. "I didn't see that either. I hadn't looked until a couple of days ago. But...I guess this is where we are now, right?" He beckons her to take his hand. "Come with me a moment..."

She sighed and looked at him as he stood and put the bracelet into his pocket. She saw his hand as he offered it. She wanted to take it but wondered if she should. She looked down at the hand and then back up to him. "I am not sure I am allowed to." She whispered softly. She shouldn't have even come, David told her not to go to him just two nights ago when they were discussing how to break a Siren's call. Ambrose was the only person she knew that could do it, the only person she trusted enough with David to break something like that should his Sire use the call on David himself but she didn't want Ambrose to get hurt should the call be to much.
She sighed. "I will follow." She said quietly.

"Not allowed?" he asked soft with a quirked eyebrow. "I would say that makes no sense but I don't want to argue. Not with you. Not right now." He turns and begins to lead her back to the willow. As menacing at it looks, it doesn't seem to move at all as they approach.

She didn't know what to say in response at the current moment so she followed him to the tree. She knew the tree was safe with him near by so she wasn't nearly as afraid of it as the first time she had saw him walk towards it. A hidden smile as she thought about that moment. She was so naive on life it seemed only a few months ago.

Once inside the canopy of the tree, he lays a palm on the trunk and the branches seem to cage around them slightly. "This is my domain. In here you are safe from anyone. No one can too close to hear or see us unless I want them to..." He turns and leans against the branches and pulls out her bracelet. "What did you mean by 'not allowed'...?" he whispered softly to her.

She watched as he touched the tree, looked at the branches as they seemed to make a barrier around them. It was beautiful to see. She hadn't been outside in the sun for a number of days so maybe she was being biased but regardless she thought it was beautiful.
"I am only safe until the sun sets and when I am closet to David." She said softly. "Well, it isn't exactly a topic that had been covered to be honest. Thus I said, I am not sure as well." She replied looking at him as he leaned against the tree.
"I would rummage to believe though that if I took another hand's, one that at one point I shared things with, David would be hurt." She looked at the leaves and how beautiful they seemed to be even without the bracelet. She really should go out during the day light more. "I cannot hurt him Ambrose, I won't bring him pain. I have tread that line once already. It hurt me as well. I can't, can't do that again." She whispered thinking about what happened that night, the night he sang to her in Mary's garden. The darkness, then the song. It shook her for a moment as she closed her eyes and then opened them again to see that is was still sunny.

He watched as a darkness seemed to go over her face. What had happened to her? Where was the cocky woman who wanted to bathe herself in moments of life? This was...not the Aisha he met. David...whoever he was? Did something. Took her light....
Isn't that what she called him?
"Why do you call me your 'light?'

She turned and looked back at him again. "I don't know." She said quietly. "You represent the day?" She thought about it. "The light." She then turned back again to study the leaves on the tree.
She wondered if David missed seeing the sun, if he missed seeing the green on the leaves in the daylight. She wondered if she could somehow she could bring plants into her home, add some green to the place. Maybe he would like that? She pondered on this for several moments before she turned back to look at Ambrose.

Ambrose is quiet as he looks at her. "This David...he brings darkness into your life. Another vampire...like Mary. She calls me Life. Light and Life. I represent something for others. I never knew I was a symbol until I had you both in my life..."
