Ever since the Dementors were removed, Aurors have been guarding the prison, taking turns so that a certain number of Aurors are assigned to stand guard, before leaving to return to fieldwork, with other Aurors taking their place.

Large room filled with uniform tables. There are holes in the walls where inmates receive their food (or what resembles such). Guards patrol along the outside of the room in intervals. Goods can be bought from the Commissary Window.

Sub-board: The Kitchen

There is little here that can be used for magical purposes, mostly mundane research books and novels. For the more magically inclined there are older copies of the History of Magic and various moving picture books of photos from around the globe circa 1970.

Each cell houses two inmates each in a bunk bed against one wall and a rudimentary combined cold water sink and toilet against the other wall. There is no privacy.

Inmates can gather, exercise, listen to the Wireless Wizarding Radio (controlled by the guards) or play games. The hall is patrolled at intervals which makes it easier to 'conduct transactions'.
