Jillian wandered into the reception hall nervously closely followed by her luggage as it floated along under its levitation charm, the first thing Jillian had done upon arriving on the island and remembering she was allowed to do magic. Looking about she wondered to herself if there was someone she was supposed to report into or something.
"It would be just my luck if everyone is off on some fun activity I'm missing.." she muttered to herself. That thought led her mind to the possibility that all the good bunks would already be taken and that she might find herself sharing a room with wizards who didn't speak English. She thought that doubtful but considered that witches and wizards were likely here from all over the globe after all. "Hello?" She called nervously, "Is there anyone here?"
She silently cursed the fact that her family had been so busy with work that she was only just arriving at the camp. Maybe she should have accepted Professor McGriffin's offer to bring her here earlier, but her parents would have just felt guilty if she had, not to mention the professor had implied she had quite a busy summer ahead and Jillian felt she had already accepted a lot from the teacher.

A small house elf comes out, peers at Jillian through the bottom of a glass bottle, making its eye look HUGE. It consults a ledger, eying her curiously.
"Miss Jillian Penrose, Hogwarts. Late due to family. I think you'll find some girls close to your own age in cabin number three." He tosses a small orb towards her, which hovers at eye height, flashing. "The bouncing ball will show you the way. Have a good camp, Miss."
And then it goes back to business.
There are other campers around. There doesn't seem to be any scheduled activities currently, but children can be seen playing ball, climbing amount the trees on rope courses, doing art, and reading in the shade. Not far away she can hear sounds of squealing and slashing, in the direction of a sign saying 'Lake'.
