Peeves, I have a couple of questions about the continent across the sea.
- I'm thinking of making an Ilvermorny student, and I noticed that they have the same familiar restrictions that Hogwarts has. The familiar restriction in Philosopher's Stone was just sort of a joke on Rowling's part, wasn't it? A few "witchy" animals that are specifically legislated by the school, like a strict uniform. I would think a much broader student base like that in America would have a correspondingly broad magical heritage, with all sorts of animals used as familiars. In particular, would a raven be allowed?
- Could I have a child character at Camp Crystal Lake, as long as he doesn't interact with Quinn?
- What sort of ancestral magic would a First Nations family have? Wanded magic for the past few generations, I'm sure, but what about before any European influence? I have a lot of ideas on that score myself, but since you have vetoed most wandless magic, I didn't want to step on any toes. Things like talking to spirits, wandless rituals, what's the verdict there?

- Yes you can have a raven
- I don't have an issue with that, as long as they never interact or end up in the same scene, they can't be in the same place at the same time. Summer camp is 'special', so I'm a bit more relaxed about it so everyone can enjoy it.
- We do not allow wandless magic in our world, it doesn't exist. I don't mind communing as a spiritualist with nature, native american influences would do something like that. Children don't get wands until they go to ilvermorny and don't get to remove them from school until they graduate. I'm keen to have players help develope ilvermorny past what we know already via the net while we wait and see if Rowling adds anything to that setting.
