Aisha made her way later that afternoon after her finals for the day were completed. She needed to meet with the Head Mistress to find out what was going on. She was intrigued to say the least, she herself had not met with the Professor she had grown to love over her life since she was hired on and to help her was a great task in her mind. Finding the statue blocking the way, she said the password required to make her way up the stairs. When she made the landing she looked around the room. She had only ever been in here once before and it still held marvels to her. She loved to look around and see all that was around the office. She stood near the entry way though awaiting for the Head Mistress to invite her up into her personal space. She didn't want to intrude if she was caught up in something else. Keeper of Darkness

The statue will open for her and bring her up into the office, "Welcome Professor, please make yourself at home." McGonagall was dressed down for the evening as it was getting late. Her long grey hair was quite beautiful as it curled around her shoulders. She had on a very comfortable emerald green gown that danced delicately against the floor as she walked.
"Everything well?"

Aisha smiled at the Head Mistress and walked forward. "Yes everything is well, your office is still as beautiful as I remembered." She smiled. "How are you doing this evening? Ready for summer holiday I presume?" Aisha was still in her school robes when she had made her way up here but the Head Mistress with her hair down made her smile even more. It was a rare sight to see her anything but the perfect image one had for her. She suddenly seemed very much human to the woman. Which she knew it was just a different side for Aisha.

"Very well, and yes, the summer is a welcome holiday. Especially at my age." She smiles kindly to Ria, pouring the Professor a cup of tea. "I had wanted to talk to you about something that is concerning, yet not quite an issue. Would you mind having a look through the letters, tell me what you think of them?" She shows Ria a small pile of correspondence on the desk.

Aisha takes the tea offered. "Thank you for the tea." She takes a sip as the Head Mistress speaks. "I would be glad to help anyway I could." She picks up the pile of letters and begins to read through them.
"If I recall correctly, rumor has it that Professor Adamson was relieved of duty for the summer early due to an altercation with a student, yes?" She didn't know all the details, she wasn't here yet when the transpired. "If you could fill me in on the details though, I am sure I could have a better picture of him." She took a seat with the letters and the tea in each hand. "As for Professor McGriffin, I have yet to meet her but if what she says is true, could be a bit more serious."

"He was placed on temporary leave due to an incident revolving a curse placed upon him in his personal past. It was manifesting in a very dark fashion and the Ministry agreed to allow him to keep his job if he spent the rest of term at home while it was being resolved. As for a threat such as that, if he did say anything of the sort it would have been been provoked in some fashion, he would never intentionally harm a student or a Professor."
She sits down, sipping her tea. "I do trust Mr. Adamson, though I cannot stop the feeling that this should be looked into and resolved before next term. What I do know of yourself is your ability to suss out the truth. Would you mind looking into this matter before next term begins?"

Aisha placed the papers back on the desk and looked at Professor McGonagall listening to her explanation of what transpired. "I will presume the curse was taken care of?" She asked before agreeing to look into this. She knew she could find things out, that was not the problem, dealing with someone still under a curse? That was going to be tricky in her opinion.

"The item was recovered by Mr. Potter at the Ministry and destroyed by the Department of Mysteries. I must assume that is the end of that situation and hope for the best. If you find otherwise it would be best to let me know." Everyone knew how seriously McGonagall was about protecting the children.
"Normally I would simply dismiss a comment such as this, but as it is unprofessional in how it is presented it must be looked into." The tea was exceptionally good this evening, perhaps it was that term was coming to the end and everything tasted sweeter with the prospect of a rest. Though rest is not normally what a headmistress would have any time of the year.
"Before I forget, there was mention of yourself left with me from Mr. Potter. It seems he thinks you would be a good fit at the summer camp that the Ministry is sponsoring."

The tea was delicious as she took another sip of it and let in linger in her mouth just enjoying the taste. "I will look into it. I understand the issue with protecting children first. I will find out what I can and let you know."
She looked at the Head Mistress when she brought up the camp. "I will think about it. How long is the summer camp?" She knew she had some plans for the summer already, so she wanted to know what would be required of her at this camp.
OOC- Can Ria be a camp counselor if Matilda attends the camp? Assuming Matilda could attend once she received her owl?

"That is if you had no plans this summer, if you do than no matter really. You would practically need to live there." She picks up a cookie from a plate and indulges in one of the chocolate ones. "What are your plans this summer? Are you staying here at the castle or returning home?"
OOC: Oops I forgot about that! I'd send Matilda there, it would be good for her to meet some of the students before she started at the school. She's more than welcome to go, the ministry is already aware of her.

Aisha smiled and watched as the Head Mistress enjoyed a cookie. "I am going home, I bought a place out in Camden Town. I also have to go with my parents this summer back to India for a week. Grandmother is turning 110, it is a big deal for family. She is the first to live so long." She took another sip of tea. "I am not sure I would have the time to devote to the kids this summer, but would love to take a hand in the camp next year. If they need a stand in for a week or two, or someone to come out and help for a day, I would not mind if they sent an owl requesting me. I do have time here and there to help if needed."
She looked around the room for a moment. "Are you going to get away for a break? You look like you could use some time for you. I know this place is home to many of us, but each could use time for themselves as well."

"I live here at the castle, but I shall think about going out for a few weeks here and there to get some fresh air. It takes much dedication to run Hogwarts, there are souls that live here on the grounds all year round that need looking after from time to time." She came to enjoy living at the castle, and Hagrid always brought a smile to her face as long as she didn't eat anything.
"Now that I think of it, I could do with a trip to Edinburgh for a fortnight. That does sound lovely."

She understood that there were things here that she didn't even know about, the mysteries of the beloved castle she was sure even the Head Mistress didn't know all of what the castle had to offer. "I can only imagine what you must go through to keep this place up and running. The school and the Ministry are lucky to have you Professor." She smiled and finished her tea. "I think a trip to Edinburgh would be lovely this time of year." She smiled and stood up.
"I will look into the issues of the letters and let you know what I find. I hope you have a wonderful evening, thank you for the tea and the trust to help in this."
