The weekend wrapped up Dmitry was counting down the time before he headed off to the Divination tower to meet with Lili. He still had an open period after this one but still he was watching the time. The sun warm and bright was beaming through the windows of the transfiguration room. with his book open but unlike the rest of the class his mind wasn't on his work. His thoughts were still on the weekend, Lili, and what it was that sit swirling in the vial he wore around his neck.
He looked up and stretched his neck he must of read the same life a half dozen times. He set his quill down and rubbed his face.

Professor Ria watched as the students were focused, well almost all of them. She watched Dmitry, a fifth year who would be taking his owls shortly seem to never turn his page. His eyes seemed to glaze over at the words. He looked lost in thought. She stood and went towards his seat. "Are you having trouble Mr. Wolfbauer?" She asked in a hushed voice as not to disturbed anyone else.

Dmitry snapped back to the now, "Sorry professor". He hadn't seen her walk up. "A lot on my mind, know OWL's and all" he blushed slightly. It wasn't like him to space out like that. Sure there was a lot going up but he was in class it wasn't time to wander off mentally. He picked up his quill and turned the page in his book.

She placed a hand on his shoulder. "Do you need any help understanding anything? I know fifth year can be a struggle. We have all been there. Did you read the exam review I posted on the wall?" She wanted to make sure he was prepared and that he could focus enough to get through the OWLS. She removed her hand and pulled her wand out and called over a small snuffle box. "Have you tried for once putting the book down to just practice what you need to do? It comes easier for some to actually do than read."

"I suppose I could do with some practice." He put down his quill, closed his book and lead back in his chair and stretched. "Practical application has always been a strong suite of mine. What should this become professor." He cracked his knuckles and pulled his wand from it's leather holster that sat on his hip.

The Professor nodded as he spoke about practical application being his better strong suit. "How about you turn it into a rat?" She pulled her wand out again and called out a large box from the shelf. The box was about the size of a trunk and about as heavy. "When you have done that, I want you to use the vanishing spell on the rat. Then turn this large box into an animal of your choice. I want to see you work it out yourself. Just remember to be careful, and focus." She smiled and stepped back to allow him to work.

He looked at the snuff box, the vanishing would be easy he could do that in his sleep. In fact he had once back at his old school. He cleared his pictured how the rat should look how the box should transform. Reaching out with his wand it taped the box quickly the rat formed head to tail however it still had a faint pattern of the box on it's back.
the second spell he did with a simple wave of his wand and like that the rat was no longer there.
Now the box was in front of him, roughly the size and shape of a trunk. He closed his eyes briefly and imagined what the box could be come with the short flick of his wand the box became a German sheared.

Aisha turned the rat back into a box with the Untransfiguration spell then looked at the German Shepherd. "I think you missed a spot dear." She pointed to the dogs back leg that still looked like a box piece. "You don't really need to study if you can master the vanishing spell so well dear. That will be your OWL this year as well as a practical theory piece on writing about animagius turning as well."

He looked at the dog and frowned. "yeah not sure how that happened."Professor, what does it take to become and animagius, at Durmstrang Transfiguration really wasn't a class I really paid much attention to. Didn't see the need at the time. But now after reading about them" his eyes when from the dog to her's curiosity and intrigue planed a crossed his face.

Professor Ria adjusted and leaned against a desk. "It takes studying human transfiguration, which comes if you decided you wanted to do NEWT level transfiguration. It is harder to change a human body than an animate object. It can take months for a person to learn the just the applied theoretical methods alone. Then transforming their own body can be a dangerous thing if not done right it can cause permanent injury. Then there is the problem with wanting to be an animagius. Almost every person that has changed and taken that step, take on the form of their patronus. My form is a Falcon but my patronus is a Borzoi."
Pulling out her wand she said "Expecto Patronum" The borzoi came forth. ((A Borzoi looks like a greyhound ie. racing dog)) She watched as the borzoi ran around the student than disappeared as the spell waned. The she looked and gave the boy a smile and a wink as she said nothing and suddenly she was flying around the room as her falcon. Her only discerning mark, her pale blue eyes. She perched on the desk next to him for a moment before standing and changing back just as smoothly.
"It takes a full cycle of the moon just to start the dedication needed for this. If you don't have the time to devote an entire month then it isn't something to do. If you wish, depending on your OWLS, I may consider allowing you into the NEWT levels."
With a quick flick of her wand again she cast the untransfiguration spell on the would be dog and it turned back into a box.
"Is there anything else you wish to know Mr. Wolfbauer?"
**OOC-To Guardians, the patronus and wand that PC has matches Pottermore, bio states that animagi is falcon, upon research, it is possible with much training for the two to take on different forms, most animagi are fowl of some sort.**

Dmitry sat back in awe. Right before his eyes she turned in to a falcon and the back. He had never seen anything so flawless. "Is it only one form or can a skilled an witch or wizard have multiple forms?" He asked a look of intrigue clearly visible.

The Professor thought for a moment. Had this student not learned this in his third year? "No a witch or wizard no matter how skilled can not have more than one form. The animagius takes a permanent form of what is animal is inside you. Thus for the possibility that you can have a patronus different than an animagius." She smiled softly. "Do you have anything else Mr. Wolfbauer you would like to ask?"

Clearly there was when he sat back in his chair and said "no ma'am nothing further" and returned to his books. It was evident there was something else on the young man's mind beyond the up coming O.W.L. exams.

Aisha watched the young man return to his books. She went back to her desk and sat down. All the other students had left already when she looked up again. Dmitry was still there. He looked troubled and she wondered if something else was bothering him.
"Dear," she stood and went back towards him. "What else is bothering you?" she looked at him with concern.

When the professor spoke to him again the class had already ended and he was the last one still in the class. He flushed slightly, he was had lost focus again. The noise in his head was distracting him from his studies. The night in Hogsmeade, Learning about Lili's family structure, Where and with who she was to be spending her time during the summer, the fact that his mother was tried to pull away from him the one thing he held dear. something that he felt made him him." He looked up at the professor from his table he could she she was genuine in her concern and since there was really no one else he felt he could talk to at the moment he decide to confide in her, if even a little at first.
"Where do I begin? The fact that My Mother is tried to end my dueling career, that only my Dad has go back to Germany, That my girlfriend is now one of the most politically powerful people I know?" He sighed and rubbed and rubbed his face "or the fact that she has a talent few others posses and had a dream over the weekend that regarded me in only some what of not so flattering manner. there's even the topper to whole pile, she'll be staying with professor Kestral during the summer. Don't get me wrong she's amazing professor it's just that...." he paused as if what he was about to say shouldn't be said in the classroom "...I... I don't trust vampires." he looked around his face straight, his expression dancing between anger and confusion as he spoke.

Aisha took a seat next to the boy listening to him. She knew there was another student having issues as well and she wondered momentarily if the two were connected some how but she didn't interrupt him. She let him speak. He looked stressed to say the least and she was surprised to hear that a student would be staying with Professor Kestral. She had no concern about the vampire to be honest. She wouldn't have been allowed to teach at the school if there was an issue with her feeding on students.
"Okay, so first Mr. Wolfbauer, you need to take a deep breath. I understand that life can take turns. But it does get easier over time." She waited until he took a breath than continued. "I can understand being concerned about Professor Kestral, but you must understand if the Head Mistress or the Ministry were concerned with her at all, she wouldn't be here. She must have great control over herself. I have meet her a few times and though I am fascinated I can understand the concern to a 16 year old. Also, I am sure if anything harm came to this friend of yours, I am sure that the Professor would meet a lot of turmoil she seems to want to avoid."
She patted his hand in concern, like a mother does to a child. "Also, is your friend, a student here? I would presume she was, seeing as she knows Professor Kestral. Have you spoken to her? Does she know you are concerned? I understand you don't trust her, but it is possible that she could help put your mind at ease. I also wouldn't be against going with you to meet the Professor and speaking to her." She brought her hands back into her lap and looked at the student in the eyes.
"As for your parents, are you worried about not having a place to go because of their personal issues? That you really don't want to be with either parent? You are 16, you are not free of them yet." She laughed softly remembering how much she wanted to get away from her parents at his age as well. Only her life took a different track. "Being a duelist is your choice and if I recall they gave permission originally. I am sure if they had true concerns that they would send and OWL to the Head Mistress whom would understand their concerns but ultimately this is your choice and path to follow." She took another breath.
She did have a second room, if this child needed a place to go. But could she trust him to not interfere in her summer actives? Also she did believe she would need parental permission from both parents if that were to occur. She didn't want to bring it up to be honest. She didn't want it to be her idea either. She kept her home and private life just that, separate. But if the boy wanted to stay near London to be near his friend, she could offer, she did live near Mary after all. She would have to talk to Mary and make sure that another student near by wasn't going to be an issue. Aisha would presume that like her Mary wanted to keep her life private as well. The option was there though if he asked and she spoke to Mary about it. They only had a short time left before school was out, so things would have to move quickly.

Dmitry leaned back in his chair listing to Professor Ria. She was right if professor Kestral was in any way a threat she wouldn't be here. I realized he had spoken out of turn and that his concerns were born of older ways of thinking, Durmstrang hand't given him much to go on when it came to vampires other then the idea that they were to be avoided at all cost and not to be trusted. As he listened he to the professor address this issue his face felt warm. How could he have thought this way. If Dristan hadn't said anything at Hogsmeade why was it still a problem now?
"my friend is Lilianna, and I feel I've misjudged the Professor. We were taught to view vampires far differently at Durmstrang. Something I've been trying to work away from. Old habits die hard I guess."
When she reached the topic of his parents and him not wanting to go home however his mood changed from that of embarrassment to that of anger. He really hadn't talked much about home life. How his parents fought and argued the majority of the time since they had been in London. How his mother wanted to stay there when it was his father who and every intention to go back to Germany after Dmitry had finished Hogwarts. She would fight against his dueling career every step. Only Lili and Dristan knew that his mother almost effectively ended it single handedly by not renewing his certification. And now his dad went back to Germany alone.
"It's because of issues between my mother and I. She's not thrilled I'm in Slytherin, even though it was her house while she was here. She had hoped I'd be a Gryffandor or Ravencalw. She's always been against my dueling and really never truly agreed with my attending Durmstrang. She's constantly on about dark witches and wizards and personal glory. I don't see it, I just found something I was good at that didn't involve quidditch and to her it's not a real "sport" and she's said as much.
He took a breath and just slumped, if only things would smooth back out again.

Professor Ria nodded her head listening to Dmitry and thinking to herself. So, Lilianna was the student I met out on the tree, whom the Head Mistress was helping as well as several professors. I wonder what her gift is. She put the thought aside as she understood the issues that parents can cause mostly because they loved to much.
"I think you are coming along with your thought process and views since leaving Durmstrang. It is just a matter of working at it, which I can tell you are doing." She smiled softly. "As for parents, I am sorry to hear they are having troubles with themselves and it is effecting you here. Being Slytherin doesn't mean you are a dark wizard Dmitry. I think and forgive me if I speak ill of your mother, but perhaps she is blinded by everything that has happened in her lifetime? Not the best good came out of that house but that doesn't mean that it can't. If the sorting hat wanted you there, it was for a reason. Not because you are evil inside, that is a choice dear. But because of your skills that match what that house represents. It is up to you to choose. As for your mother, well she is loosing a child. One that will become a man soon. This could also be her fear of all that you do. Dueling can be viewed by many as not being a sport, but alas it is. Think of the muggle counterpart."
She grinned and winked at him. "Yes I know of some muggles things dear, but think of fencing, it is a sport where they practice fighting with swords. There is no real danger in the art of it. I think that dueling represents fencing. They are both art forms, they both can pose some sort of danger, but in the end it is for sport to see whom is better with their given skills than the next. It isn't necessarily teaching you how to fight in a real battle, but it is giving you skills to perfect that you may need one day, though hopefully in this lifetime of yours, you won't need it." She pondered for a moment, wondering if she had made a good speech on the subject. She wasn't a dueling artist nor did she have a side for battles.
"Now let's go back to the thing with this girl of yours. You are concerned she is staying with Professor Kestral, I also presume you wish to be near your friend. Yet your mother lives in London but not close enough for you to help in case something happened? I say, let me send an owl to Kestral and find a good meeting time for the three of us. We will meet with her, you can discuss your issues and if you wish to be closer, I think Professor Kestral and I can help with that as long as your mother and father are good with it as well. But alas one step at a time."

At the mention of his parents his face reddens and looks back to his notes. "I'm not sure how that's going to go. My parents just finalized a divorce earlier this week" his voice quitter then normal. This letter still fresh in his mind as if the ink were still wet. "My father went back to Germany to get away from my mother. However I'm I can talk it over with both of them."
"If you think it will help things I have no problem sitting down with professor Kestrel." He says looking back up his eyes slightly glassy. "might help take my mind of of things."

Professor Ria nodded her head in understanding. "I am sorry to hear about your parents dear. Let me send an owl to Professor Kestral and we can both help get this situated before the end of the term. You need your mind clear for exams after all dear." She smiled and patted his shoulder giving him a reassuring smile to help him with his ordeal.

"The more I think about it the more I guess I could see it coming. I my self have a hard time being around my mother without my dad around. Its namely the reason I really don't want to be around her this summer. She is the definition of overbearing. She has an idea if what I should be when it comes to being a Syltherin. And lately it seems I've not lived up to those expectations as much as I should be. Even with the good marks she's not please with the fact I'm dating a raven claw."
He looked at his watch and realized he was going to be late to his next class "Excuse me professor I need to get running but Please set up a meeting with Professor Kestral and let me know when and where."
He stands up and starts backing his things.

"Of course dear." She watched as the boy left her classroom. She turned and went to her desk to send an owl off to Mary. It would help the boy if they spoke.
