The Magical World of Harry Potter is owned by J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros.
The Old World of Darkness was created by White Wolf
Call of Cthulhu is owned by Chaosium Inc.
All book/movie characters inspired or directly taken from media are owned by their perspective writers/publishers.
We claim no ownership, our only part in this is to ensure creativity continues in the art form of writing and imagination. The combination of OWOD and HP was created by HBN in 2004 and has since been copied in other game sites. We fully accept and embrace those that chose to move on and create magic elsewhere.
Our Purpose:
We strive to bring literature and creativity back into a world where children are learning slang and becoming lost into virtual realities that deny the creative use of their minds and written word. We believe that our children should be given a chance to explore more traditional literature that we were given to read and learn as part of our educational upbringing before the internet became more integrated into our every day lives.
As our world becomes more digital children are becoming less inclined to remember the importance of proper grammar and spelling. We feel that language and writing can still be important even online, and that the greatest books from centuries past are still alive and even more vivid than before, they will never be forgotten.
Our Goals:
We want to bring classic literature back into our children's minds by infusing popular culture into our unique interactive story-lines. To bring back a sense of confidence and community we encourage the use of journals where adults and teenagers may be able to express their true feelings about their lives in a safe environment. To inspire artists we have opened an art gallery to display unique paintings and drawings on a more visual scale.
We assemble adult and teenage guardians to help teach new players how to integrate back into literature by coaching proper spelling and grammar structure by involving themselves in the posts of our members.
Our Principles & Beliefs:
Adults and Teenagers who have confidence in exceptional writing standards, Competence, Helpful guardians who encourage Adults and Teenagers, Valuing Diversity, Valuing Creativity and Fun, Harmony and a sense of community, Leadership to help encourage ongoing creative thought.
