Standard Rules & Description of Elysium

The castle is in an ethereal realm, it falls outside of normal 'Camarilla' or 'Sabbat' sect control. The history of the Castle is clouded in mystery, even to the Inconnu. It has existed before, and exists now somewhere between the unknown and reality. Looking outside the windows does show there are walls with an inner courtyard, anything beyond the boundaries are mist. If you cross the boundaries you are returned to the place where you originally came from.
All Electronics and Technology fail in this realm as it has no grid to connect to. A generator may last awhile, but the castle itself seems trapped in time, there are ghouls to maintain rooms and light torches for the weaker vampires.
There is a hierarchy to the Castle that is still very reminiscent to 'tradition' to maintain order, but that power does not extend outside of the walls and does not fall into particulars of Sect, it does not recognise it. Perhaps an Inconnu influence.
The positions are honorific to the roles taken within that realm, if one takes control (Regent) of the castle, they are not able to leave the confines of the castle boundaries unless relinquished, nor can they remove the monitor. It is a burden and responsibility that cannot be taken lightly. All other positions are able to come and go from the castle; the status does not follow anyone back into the mortal world.

Description of Castle Layout
The main entrance is a great hall, full of very old hard woods. It is arranged with a bar off to the right with staff room corridors and doors. There are tables and alcoves for sitting and having private conversation. In the back of the room is a stained glass wall with a grand piano situated underneath.
Beautiful stairs go up to a balcony overlooking the room. From there the hallways go off in various directions to offices and chamber suites. You can see a walled garden through the window, but beyond the boundary is only fog. Attempting to go through the fog will only send you back to where you originally came from as you can only return to your own time and place.
Vampires and their ghouls are more than welcome to take up residence, but you will need to return from where you came from in order to feed. The only exception is if you have a ghoul that hunts for you.
