A A Tess's workshop and apartment had been upgraded as part of a bonus from the mysterious Anatoli for a job well done, the only downside was she was permanently on call to sort out bikes, not that she minded. Tess grinned at the man below in the street he was angry, not as angry as she was, what had started out as a few drinks in a bar had lead to a tiring night and most of the day with Bradley, Or was it Brian? Tess wasn't sure now nor did she care. She tossed his shirt out of the window followed by the man's shoes and shirt jacket she felt the weight of the phone in its pocket and removed it.
Quickly scrolling through she found what she was looking for she dialed the number and waited after a quick conversation with the woman at the other end of the phone tess put the phone back into the jacket and hurled it out of the window too.
Men what was with them she had few rules but married men was her no go. Idiot she hissed at herself.
She went back around the apartment and picked up the remainder or whatever that guy was called and tossed them out of the window, sending the man scurrying around in the street as a bemused group of the mechanics laughed at his plight.

Caleb had come here with the intention of hashing out the order of the would be pack that seemed to be forming. What he was greeted with put a smile on his face. Some pathetic example of a male was scurrying around trying to gather his belongings from the dirty garage forecourt.
He strolled right upto where the man angrily picked up his belongings.
'Tuff break dere fella! She seems like a right ballbreaker.' the man looked up at him, his face bright red and angry. 'F*** off you Irish c***!'
Caleb smiled and then frowned, 'No wonder she's chuckin'you out, if you use words like dat.'
The man stood to his full 6ft whatever and squared up to Caleb. Caleb laughed and shrugged off his sheepskin coat. Then stood to his full height also. 'So it's a fight your lookin' is it?' he snarled low in his gut and let his Rage come upto the surface, 'No I don't want a fight, just leave me alone!' the man ran from the garage just in his pants. Caleb laughed watching the sight. Looking up he shouted to Tess, 'Hey, you free?' he grinned up at her and picked up his coat.

Tess's mood dropped a level as she saw Caleb shrug off his coat, that man had a semi permanent slouch. He had raised a good point at the vampires house, what did she think about him? Now wasn't the time to think about that she looked out at Caleb as he called up to her. I appear to have a free slot by if you didn't bring food you may go get some Without waiting for a response she disappeared back into the apartment. Tess buzzed down to the shop and told Kevin that he could only let Caleb in if he had food, the thought of that conversation made her laugh out loud as she stepped into the shower. A short time later Tess was dressed in jeans and a tee-shirt putting on coffee in her sparse home her bag of possessions still packed in the corner nothing personal on display she could ghost out of NY and leave no trace.

Caleb was refused entrance by some grease monkey named Kevin. 'She says you got no food your not getting in buddy!' Caleb grinned and made his way to the nearest fast food joint. Twenty minutes later he returned carrying several bags of food. Holding them up for Kevin to see he was allowed in.
He had to knock the door with the tip of his boot and waited.

Tess opening the door to to an overloaded Caleb, she stood aside and allowed him into her home, she would have to remember to get Kevin a drink for a job well done.
Hope you can cook Irish, it's why I always eat out. Here have coffee
Tess handed Caleb a cup and pointed to the sugar and cream. Seating herself on one of the bar stools she sips her coffee. Well why you here? You still sore about the other night? Tess began to put her hair in a braid as she waited for Caleb to speak.

He sat the two stuffed paper bags down on the counter. 'One's Chinese and de others Indian, which you prefer? Tanks very much for de coffee.'
He looked at her as she fixed her hair, his expression one of uncertainty, then he just blurted it out, 'Sorry Tess, for pullin' dat Alpha shite infront of de Vampires.' he wasn't ashamed for what he had done, just when he had. 'I should've waited till we got back to de Caern.'

Tess took the bag of Indian food and sat back down with a fork in hand she pointed to the cutlery draw so Caleb could get his own, she only had the free plastic stuff you get when you buy take out food. Apologie accepted. You aren't my alpha Tess opened the food up and began eating.

That would suit me. Tess said between mouthfuls of food she got up and pulled a bottle of water out of the fridge setting one down beside Caleb She went back to her seat and finished the huge amount of food Caleb had bought her, he seemed to be trying to fix things maybe she should be more forgiving. I haven't been around our lot for a long time.

'Dat makes two of us. You, Col and Mei are de only others I've saw in ages. So again I apologize, I've been without Garou for two long, forgot the right ways of tings.' He opens the water and drinks, 'Though I am sure if we have a good aul'scrap it'll all sort itsel' out.'

Tess nodded and almost smiles Well Irish you brought me food so I guess I'm not gonna stay mad, a good fight is good for the soul, what way do you want to do it? Klaves or crinos or just homid? Tess stood up and dumped her rubbish in the bin waiting for Caleb to answer.

He wiped his mouth on one of the paper napkins, 'I don't tink we need Klaives! It ain't dat serious, lets jus' keep it kinda friendly.' he laughed as he knew it wouldn't be friendly when they starts fighting.

Tess grinned as she watched Caleb wip his mouth she kinda liked him, and knew full well they would not be having anything short of a full on fight, that's just the way it went with garou, one had to be strong and one had to loose, she looked at him as he sat back to her his huge arms and broad shoulders, the scars across the backs of his hands, this man was a brawling machine. With that in mind she moved up close by and grabbed a fist full of his hair swiftly she banged his head off his dinner and the hard counter under it, sending Chinese food spilling across the floor.
She danced back away from him waiting to see if her surprise attack would evoke a rage shift. Challenge blind luck because you were a cheeky prick an if you ever side with vampires over me again I will bury "Steve" up your arse She grinned and flexed waiting.

Caleb's face hit the plate full of Chow Mein hard enough to crack the plate. Dazed and covered in noodles and bits of baby sweetcorn he stood knocking the stool over, his anger rose but he held it in check for now.
He swung wildly with both fists to cover himself while he shook off his dazed mind.
'Sneaky move 'Always has a Fork', suppose you are a Ragabash!'
He had straightened his head and turned to face her, his guard up. Slowly he closed distance on her, he could feel blood running from his nose, then he took a swing with his right hand aiming for the side of her head.

Tess waited until Caleb got up properly, there wasn't much in the way of furniture in the place she leaned back to avoid the incoming punch putting her weight on her back foot she kicked out with a straight kick towards his chest. From his guard she would gess he was a boxer perhaps. What did you expect a written notice of intent?

He wasn't expecting the kick, so his block wasn't quick enough. The boot from Tess hit him hard staggering him back a few steps.
'Kicks! RIGHT!' he thought as he lead with a left jab feint and followed with a powerful right hook aimed at her gut.

Tess fell for the feint and was rewarded with a gut punch, it hurt more than it should have, recent scar tissue still hadn't healed properly, silver wounds never did heal well. She exhaled swiftly knowing Caleb had enough skills to finish the fight quickly she bounced up with a short powerful uppercut topped with a healthy dose of elbow the distance between them was too close and she really didn't want to take a hard hit like that to the head, almost as soon as the flurry of action was finished she lept away from him trying to keep him at legs distance, this way she could utilise her kicking power over his brute strength and boxing abilities.
Tess watches as Caleb put up his guard waiting for his next move she began circling in the main living area glad she hadn't been here long enough to buy any real furniture. You hit like a human child.. Tess mocked as she moved slowly.

He saw the punch coming but couldn't dodge it she as inside his guard so he did the only thing he could. He head butted the following elbow, two hard body parts came crashing together. He felt the skin split on his forehead and could already feel the slow warm trickle of blood.
As he reeled back, she sprang back like a coil. He could see that at least it had hurt her arm, rendering it useless for awhile.
Lifting his guard he ducked and dived from left to right and back again, trying to not telegraph his next attack. He went for a series of quick jabs to the gut again aiming to finish with an uppercut.

Tess felt Calebs head hit her elbow, for an instant she thought he'd broken it. It went numb down her forearm blood trickling from his head soon it would be running into his eyes, Tess tucked her numb left up tight to her body and stalked around Caleb throwing kicks repeatedly at his head, his arm shot out fists seeking a target they did not find the distance was too much even though he was very skilled.
Tess began to feel her chances were looking up, she landed a savage blow to the head sure it wouldn't take too many of those to bring this to a conclusion. Again with a high leg kick, axe kick, straight, high, axe, axe, high straight, roundhouse, she was building up speed keeping distance... Bloody and still on his feet Caleb attacked again she was just out of reach.

The series of violent kicks knocked his brain around in his head. He could barely see straight, the only saving factor washes was able to block the full blow of most of them.
Kick after kick had him bouncing of walls, what little furniture there was. Try as he might he just couldn't get past her legs. 'Look at dem legs! Dey go all the way up ta heaven!' The round house kick knocked him on his A** and he had to roll away to avoid a follow up axe kick.
Caleb was angry now, bloodied and bruised he had to do something or he was going to shift. He ran at her taking all the hits she could dish out and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her up he slammed her into the ground to daze her. With all his strength he picked her up by the throat and pinned her to the wall, her legs dangling a good foot off the ground. He twisted his hips to make sure she wouldn't be able to hit him in the groin again.

Tess realises at the last possible moment that Caleb intend to slam her into the floor she wriggles and twisted to no avail, she started dropping elbows to the back of Calebs head, a dirty move but a normally successful one. Only he was moving too fast his weight and momentum scoops her up and bounced Tess off the solid wooden floor, she felt her head smack off the ground it made a sick wet sound she felt the warm blood as it ran down her neck. Pain exploding her plan of attack gone as small black stars erupted at the edges of her vision. Her eyes opened and closed opening again as she was unceremoniously hurled up against the wall her body hit hard she was dazed.
Tess slipped into survival mode and shifted to glabros her legs now not dangling like a rag doll she began throwing knees to Calebs midsection knowing after the other night he would probably have been protecting his manhood. She struggled as she felt his grip on her tighten she threw elbows at his head for all she was worth.

He nearly dropped her as she shifted, so he shifted also making sure he had her by the throat. Caleb really didn't want to hurt anymore than he already had so he planned to choke her out. So with both hands he tightened his grip on her throat. He thought her kicks and elbow blows had been sore enough when she was in Homid, now they were even worse. This had to end now.
He shifted one more time to Crinos and tightened his grip.

Tess felt Calebs grip loose on her throat gasping in air her lungs burned, she used the slight reprieve to her advantage hammering Caleb, then he shifted twice in quick succession the darkness tingles at the edge of her awareness her hands began to numb her legs too, the instinct to shift as her mind screaming to shift... Tess shifting to crinos it was the last thing she did before she was unconscious.

When Tess passed out Caleb made sure that he sat her against the wall. He shifted back to homid and rests her against the wall. He grabbed the rest of the take out food and sat beside her. It was then he noticed the blood that was begining to stain her top.
Caleb lifts the bottom of her top and sees the large scar, that has been reopened by his punches. He hangs his head for a moment, annoyed that he has hurt that much. He picks her up careful not to make things worse and makes his way to her bedroom. Laying her down on the bed he finds a clean towel and wraps around her waist hoping to stop the bleeding. With that doen he retrieves the food and looks for something stronger than water to drink. As he did he came across a back pack. It looks to Caleb like a pick up and leave back, the Crash helmet beside it confirms that thought.
He pulls up a chair and sits waiting for Tess to wake.
'Bloody hell gurl, why didn't ye tell me someone had tried to open your guts? If you feckin' die i'm gonna be real guilty 'bout dat!'
He shovels a heaped spoonful of fried rice into his mouth,
'I even thought we mighta had the beginnin' of a Pack formin'.'

Tess woke slowly then the room came back into focus slowly her head hurts her gut hurts she could only hope that Caleb hurt as much as she did. The smell of food made her curious where was she that she was laying down? She sat up very slowly. Upon seeing Caleb she smiles a newfound respect growing for him. Guess me being in bed means I won and passed out with joy?

It must have been warm in the room Tess blushed slightly getting up off the bed she shifted to her war form healing the new wounds her body immediately felt better. Well now what do you want to do? You want to get drunk and do the whole heart to heart stuff sharing stories and all that? she dressed from one of several backpacks.

He pulled a bottle in a brown paper bag from his jacket. Waggling the bottle for her to see, 'Well now, we can sure do the drinkin', what I'm interested in is those gut wounds. They look fresh and caused by a Klaive.

Several hours later Tess was tipsy drunk a short walk to buy more food and drink Tess was sitting comfortably on her living room floor watching Caleb. She noticed the rip in his trousers and the fresh blood that stained them. Well Irish I can't really tell you because we aren't pack she had managed to avoid the question all evening by taking a drink each time he asked a question she didn't want to answer. She was starting to regret that now.

He hadn't pushed at it, he wanted to. But he didn't, she would tell him when she wanted too. 'Pack! Well now, maybe we should be talkin' 'bout dat! You me and de aul'man, what say you?' Caleb was very drunk by now, he slouched in the only comfortable chair in the barely decorated apartment. With a bottle of red wine in one hand, a smoke in the other and several empty crushed beer cans scattered around his feet he laughed. 'I jus' been tinkin' Tess, when you woke and we talked, you blushed!'
