I hope this owl finds you well, I am in truth unsure whether an owls magical affinity for finding people extends to yourself. I also hope you are not offended at recieving mail from a student during the holidays. I can only ask your forgiveness in that regard. I have used a Ministry Owl trained for long distance flight in the hope of having more success and just in case your reply is not sent before I return to camp. My parents often use them for contact collegues in America.
I find myself requiring some assistance with a Muggle Studies related question. I have found myself requiring a phone in order to send letters but as you were unable to demonstrate their use and functions in class the extent of my knowledge comes from coursebooks and such. Much of that details using a phone to 'call' but do not mention letters. If it is not too much of a trouble, I would greatly appreciate some instruction in this manner when you have the time.
Many thanks in advance and apologies again, Jillian Penrose
Your owl did indeed find me, as you can see. The poor creature has needed rest and recouperation for its trouble, I am currently abroad in Europe.
Modern phones are capable of short messages, called texts, or longer messages, called emails. Find an Apple Store in London. Not the fruit variety, the computer variety. Buy an iPhone and have someone there show you the basics. If you are in need of muggle funds for this, take this letter to Gringotts, and they will provide for you on my account.
I should be back by the end of the month, and will be happy to show you all the details of the devices use.
Yours, in education always,
Mary Kestrel
The owl would return around the 20th July, tired after its flight from Greece.
