She and Exo had returned from their 'hunt' about an hour ago. Mary had packed herself a small bag, but mostly it was herself she needed to take. She wore her rosary, a long black dress with fitted bodice, and a veil. Her cell phone was in her pocket, though it's battery wouldn't last the week out. After such a casual summer, it felt nice to be dressed formally again.
Travelling via the Abyss was so much easier than tin cans, but not entirely instant. After their hunt, and with the time difference, she had maybe a couple of hours of night left at her destination. It had been worth it, though.
She called upstairs "My fury, its time."

Exo came down in his topless form, obviously coming from taking a shower. Looking her over, he grinned, pulled her close and kissed her softly. "My witch, my Maria...y everything. Be safe. Give him my regards. I will await your return..." He was sad that she was going but knew this trip was needed. His hands ran over the bodice before he took her hand and had her twirl slow. "Almost like the day I met you..." he said softly.

She kissed him hard. She was going to miss him just as much. When he ran his hands over her, she smiled, it got broader at his words.
"Almost. If you like me dressing like this, you only had to say."
She reached out to stroke his face, her fingers lingering.
"I'll be back before you know I'm gone."
Balthazar stepped out of the shadows in the hallway. He was in a mostly humanoid form. He'd scouted the way for her,
"That's my cue. Be good while I'm gone."

He smirks. "YOu found me wearing pirate hand me downs. You looked so damn elegant...I was drawn from the moment I laid eyes on you. And remember? My sire is an angel..." He chuckles and pulls her in for one last, long, lingering kiss. "I will be as good as I can be..." He squeezed her hands reassuringly and then let her go, stepping back to watch her leave.

The kiss did linger. And yes, she remembered. He had looked so lost and ... He'd needed her, and she hadnt realised until he came along how she'd needed him.
"Goodbye then, my furious angel!" She blew him a last kiss as she took Balthazar's hand and stepped through the shadow gate into the Abyss, and was gone.
