Rose shrugged. "What I am telling you, I would be telling them too if they happened to be here. But I am certain they're aware of the fact already. I just thought you should be as well."
"Other than better safe than sorry? None in particular, except that young witches and wizards, just like any other teenagers, tend to think they know everything and underestimate the risks. And, as mentioned before, it may happen that Kindred give into the Beast and that's a phenomenon young witches and wizards should be able to detect and recognize so they don't needlessly endanger themselves."

Duvall nodded slowly, he agreed with these points at least. He was under no illusion that the treaty was perfect, that had always been the case with other treaties with magical beasts so why would vampires of all things be different. "I will await your letter regarding your kind with interest, Miss Belmont. I imagine it will be most enlightening. Your knowledge on so many matters has been an unexpectedly pleasent surprise."
"Now, if there were indeed no other matters to discuss?" He waved his wand towards the door, causing it to open slightly. Not all the way though, he was making an effort not to cause any real offence. The feline turned its back on Nikolaus and disappeared under the desk in the direction of Duvall's legs. "I do hope that list is of as much assistance as you hoped."

Rose smiled, her usual barely there smile laced with a hint of amusement. People from the Ministry and their back handed compliments. She might have become an immortal, she wasn't sure eternity would be enough time for her to ever get used to that. "I have to hope it will be up to your expectations, then."
Again, the Tremere shook her head 'no' and stood up. She didn't take any offense in him opening the door for them. "Rest assured, we shall make the most of it," she replied. "Thank you for your time, Mister Duvall. It's been most interesting meeting you."
She was almost out of the door alreaddy when she turned back to him and added. "Minister Granger wouldn't happen to be here at such a late time of night, now would she? For I would have loved to pay her my respects."

Finally, this meeting was over. It had proven helpful - they'd definitely have to study those names - and Duvall may have admitted he was wrong about them, but he still looked as if he were instead at the Ministry's equivalent to the BMV, waiting to renew his broom license with one hundred people ahead of him in line.
"Bonne soirée, Monsieur Duvall," Nikolaus would say as he followed Rose to the door, leaning on his cane as she paused to ask about Minister Granger. He'd honestly be surprised if she worked this late, but he'd been wanting to meet her for a while, himself.

Duvall did not seem especially pleased by any of Rose's comments, nor did he rise from his chair to see them out. He had all but turned his attention away to look at what the quill had written when the question made him turn back. "I am afraid that Mrs. Granger will almost certainly have retired hours ago. She has children you realise and it is the summer holidays." Duvall did not stand to see the pair out, "I shall pass on your regards however when I next see her. Goodnight Regent Belmont. Mr. Oberlin."

"You're right. That is most understandable." Rose replied. Something inside of her sank at the mention of 'children', and she wasn't even entirely sure why. Maybe that was the thing, with her witch's powers, that she missed about being mortal. Not walking in the sun, not eating food or drinking real wine, not tanning... No. But being a witch and a mother, maybe. Of course, she hastily pushed these thoughts aside before they could even show on her face.
"Then, please do tell her I'm looking forward to meeting with her again. Goodnight, Mr. Duvall. I know we'll be in touch." She eyed the cat, or rather the spot where it had disappeared, one last time and left the office.
