Headmistress McGonagall,
My name is Rose Belmont and I would like to apply for the position of Music Teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
I'm told the position is currently vacant and has been for a while now. Also, I do believe that this particular position is opened to muggles, vampires, witches and wizards alike. Being a vampire myself as well as a former student of the French Academy of Magic of Beauxbâtons, I hope you will be able to take the present application into consideration.
Regarding my references, I've never taught any music class so far but I've been studying for ten years at the French Conservatoire of Bordeaux. I play the violin as well as a bit of piano, and have extended knowledge in music theory that I'd be happy to teach to students who'd be interested in broadening their knowledge and acquire skills not directly connected to magic. …Although I believe music is a form of magic too, wouldn't you say so?
I understand that you might need to know more about me before making a decision, especially because of my vampiric nature. Therefore, I'd be honored to have the opportunity to meet with you in person and discuss my application further at a date of your convenience.
