Delivered by a different owl than the one which flew to greece.
Professor,
I trust you have returned home by now. I am writing to thank you for your assistance previously and the offerof funds you made, even though I made use of my own savings.
The muggle store was interesting, but the people who worked there were less than polite and tired quickly of my questions. I was successful in the end and although the tool was interesting and surprisingly expedient when it came to sending messages and receiving replies I will admit to prefering pen and paper such as this. It is currently in the hands of my parents. I made a birthday request that they try and find a way to charm it so it could continue to work when I return to school. I do hope they are successful, although they only have a few weeks to make the attempt.
I have enclosed the special number in the assumption that my parents attempts do not break the device, but suggest you reply by owl at least this time.
Your dutiful student, Jillian Penrose
P.s. Have you heard anything regarding Professor Ria and her partner since your return?
I am home, yes. Earlier than planned, for which I am grateful.
I am glad your acquisition was successful. I am not sure how successful or otherwise your parents might be attempting to enchant it, but I will be most curious to see their results either way. Thank you for your number, I have enclosed my own below,
I do know of Mr and Mrs Alexander, yes. Both are well, and recovering from their ordeal. I can only assume you escaped the finale of their adventure safely. I am sure Aisha will contact you when she feels able. Though I doubt she will be teaching this year. I will leave it to her to explain. Just know that she is happy and well.
I look forward to seeing you again when school commences, if not before,
