Written more hurriedly than Jillian's usual handwriting at school, the ink is smudged in places as if water had been splashed on it before it had dried.
Professor,
I do not know how you may feel about my writing to you but I find myself quite worried and unsure who else to turn to. I read today a muggle article regarding David which said that the two of you had been married but that he had then been kidnapped! At first I did not believe it but after attempting to send him a message using my muggle phone, like I did before, the message I got in return stated the number was no longer in service!
I know that David cannot have a father and the article mentioned piracy, so I am dreading the worst impossible as it must be.
Are you okay? What happened with David? Is he alright? Please let me know what is going on and if I can help in any way! I keep rereading the muggle news and feel I am going crazy. We both know that David is a good man, how and why could this happen?
