Aisha smiled as the woman came over towards them, she watched as David stood, she herself didn't get up, she honestly wasn't sure how to act and the fear of that black box and David's song, kept her firmly seated where she was. She of course made no signs on the outside of her body, though maybe her eyes hinted a bit at the thought, but she brushed it away as best she could. "Good evening to you both. I hope you are having a pleasant evening thus far." She said with a smile.
"I didn't send a letter. Forgive me. I was showing David around my world." Her left hand on the wine glass would show the ring on it and she wondered if they could tell, that she had taken the step with David, into their world. She still didn't understand the difference in politics, though she did know that these two were on the opposite end of the Sabbot. She wondered if they had cult like tendencies as well as she say there waiting for them to take their seat and speak to the waitress.
Once they were seated she spoke again. "It is good that we did run into as it is. David saved one of my students from a near fatal mistake on her part. She wouldn't divulge why to me, but David here spoke to her at our home and she explained certain things that were discussed between you and her." She wondered if they knew who she was speaking of. "We just were concerned for her safety. Just so happens we were here already exploring Diagon Alley, stopped in here to see if either of you were around." She smiled and sipped her wine. Hoping she didn't offend anyone that was seated now at the table.

David remained standing until both Rose and Nikolaus was seated. Slowly he sits listening to all three of them conversing and knew this could go good or south real quick since he was sabbat and they camarilla. The reason for this was about the safety of Aisha's student no more and he had no intentions of violating the peace treaty that was established. The treaty did interest him because there was nothing like that in New York where for the moment the sabbat reigned uncontested with him at the wheel of that ship.
"Yes we were hoping for a chance meeting this evening with the both of you. Miss Jillian did speak with me after I saved her life seeking knowledge in the worst parts of the city. She was very lucky that I happened to be in the area that evening." David whispers respectfully. "She was set on by two young ones that appeared fresh of the embrace." David really studies the tremere right now being so close to them. Yes he had seen them at the night of the club opening and then at the castle but never really fully conversed with them. All he truly knew of them was from Exo and Maria.
"She is safe and unharmed. Her question was answered by me. What concerns me is the question she was given. It was so broad. The representation I needed her to be more specific in her question. Something that I only know the answers is among us and not written unless it is in a book or tome that I am not aware of." Still keeps his voice low. "I do openly apologize to the both of you if I have stepped over the boundary with answering her question." David was being genuine and wanted no trouble form the camarilla at all especially the tremere.

"It has been quite pleasant, albeit uneventful so far." Rose stressed the last two words, only barely, as she observed Aisha with curiosity, her head slightly tilted to the side. There was something different about the witch in comparison to the previous times they'd met. And it didn't take a genius to guess it had something to do with the presence of the non-Tremere Kindred present. Then, she noticed the ring on Aisha's finger and... blinked. But, as usual, it was her only 'display of emotion', if it can even be called such. She briefly glanced at David before turning back to Aisha. "It seems logical, whenever two people want to spend a significant amount of time alongside each other, that they would want to know each other's worlds." The fact she had said 'a significant amount of time' and not 'their existence' was deliberate from Rose, of course. She didn't mean to be cold or cruel because, in her mind, she was only stating a fact. Whether this ring meant an engagement or not, the truth remained: David was immortal and Aisha was not. Unless the transfiguration professor was considering being embraced by him and losing her powers in the process? The Tremere Regent knew better than ask such a personal question, still she couldn't help but wonder.
"Fate is a great provider, isn't it?" The blonde replied as both Aisha and David insisted on how they were hoping for this impromptu meeting with them. "I had not initially meant to leave the shop tonight but, upon waking up, I changed my mind." She wasn't going to mention her intuition, of course.
Just from from Aisha's vague introduction, Rose knew this was about Jillian before the name actually passed David's lips. The Tremere remained impassible until the attack was mentioned. Her hazel eyes narrowed a bit and she shook her head. The Regent thought to her whip. 'So much for warning her about the dangers of letting her curiosity lead her to meet the wrong kind of people...' Granted, they'd mostly warned her against the residents of Knockturn Alley, but still.
Rose waited for the waitress to give them their drinks and leave before she replied to David's question. "I am relieved to know she's safe for it was never our intention to put her in such a dire situation. Quite the opposite. Upon our first meeting, I noticed she was the... adventurous kind. She was walking the streets of London alone at night, and it didn't take much for her to admit she was looking for, well, vampires without actually knowing much about them." She took a sip of wyne. "Maybe we should have scared her for good to deter her from doing it again. Instead, I chose to invite her for a drink and help her realize she knew far less than she thought about those vampires she was so eager to meet. She seemed to understand that and when she asked about that symbol," She pointed at Nikolaus' brooch, "I told her it was the symbol of our sect and that, rather than simply telling her its name, I'd like for her to find it on her own."
Rose paused, her delicately painted nail tracing the rim of her stemmed glass. "I did tell her not to ask a teacher, only because it was obvious she would have gone directly to Professor Kestrel. Not only would it not have taught her how to conduct a true research, I also didn't want her to have to explain why she was interested in a Camarilla symbol and I didn't know if she would have liked to have to reveal this kind of information. As for books..." She turned to look David in the eye. "No, I didn't expect her to find any book on the subject. But when I told her asking the question directly to a teacher would be cheating, I didn't say she couldn't ask other questions that would lead her to the answer without revealing the true object of her research." That was, after all, the way Tremere did.
"Please. You do not need to apologize for telling her, since it was apparently the only way of preventing her from exposing herself to more danger. We tried to warn Jillian about the dangers of letting her sole curiosity lead her..."
Obviously she had not remembered that part when she went out that night, looking for answers.

The more the two spoke, the more Nikolaus' expression shifted from slightly annoyed, to amused. 'They really don't know anything about us, do they?' he thought to Rose, as she began her explanation. They didn't tell Jillian to go looking for other Kindred; quite the opposite, really. But Jillian's choice of action, foolish as it may have been, was equally illuminating. 'She didn't even bother to ask why there were kindred in Knockturn Alley in the first place. It's like Duvall said. We are a mystery to them. They've forgotten everything.'
And that put them in one hell of an advantageous position.
"One would have expected her to go running to the Ministry of Magic. But, as we've recently discovered, they've invited us into their world despite knowing so very little about us. Far better for them to learn about us by allowing us into their world, than foolishly inviting them into ours. They could get hurt." He turned to David. "I'm curious. Are you familiar with the purpose behind our treaty, Monsieur Alexander? Not between the Camarilla and the Sabbat. Between the Camarilla, and the Ministry. It is a dangerous world beyond the Leaky Cauldron. They demonstrate that they are unprepared for it."
If he's pointing out the inherent irony of David's implied accusation, it's purely unintentional. Rose already answered the matter regarding Jillian's task. "She bit off more than she can chew, if you will pardon the expression. But, she is still a student, n'est-ce pas?" And really, how many times have Hogwarts students gotten themselves into bad situations only to emerge from them stronger and wiser? In that, the Wizarding World and the Tremere align.

"Comme je commence à apprendre de leur monde, oui, ils sont résilients pour dire le moins. Bien que .... un peu à avide à mon avis monsieur. (As I am starting to learn of their world, yes they are resilient to say the least. Though....a little to eager in my opinion sir.)" David speaks very respectfully to Nikolaus and Rose and felt as though he may have caused an annoyance somehow. He had not accused but it seems perhaps it was taken that way.
"I know very little to the treaty you speak of. For I do not spend a lot of time here in London. Most of my time is in New York and dealing with other things trying to as they say......Garder ma distance des Filles (Keep my distance from the Daughters)." He spoke nothing more of the particular subject. "I have given Jillian my number in hopes that by speaking with me when she has questions that at least I can keep her alive and not placing herself in dire situations. I will say this even speaking to her about my own embrace I can tell that it did nothing to curb her....enthusiasm."
There was that name again Professor Kestrel and he looked to Aisha...."Ah...Maria yes....I remember." Looking to Rose. "I do understand why you instructed her not to go to teachers because it would of been to easy but what I will probably never understand is why one such as Maria is teaching at their school where the both of you who perhaps are better suited for the task."
David looks down at the table a moment and glances at Aisha. "Tell me if I am not being too bold in asking? For the both of you what is your take on the ideology of the progenitors?" There was a legitimate reason to the question. He had the Sabbat side and yes he was a part of them but now and perhaps it was Aisha's influence wanted to know and understand from actual Camarilla.
His eyes calm and soft and watching and studying.

Aisha listened to them speak. She hadn't thought about Mary and the implications of asking that particular teacher but now that it was presented to her she couldn't ignore the reasons behind the request Rose had given Jillian. She wondered for a moment.
"Miss. Penrose was my concern more so because she is a student of mine. She can of course make her choices, whether your knowledge can be found any where or not the girl is a curious creature. My only request is maybe to have someone keep an eye on her as she walks which ever path she chooses. I won't be here much longer, I am transferring to the American school in the fall though of course she will always be a student I taught." She seemed to have a fond memory of the girl and she had a pleasant smile on her face as she thought about it momentarily.
Aisha didn't interrupt David and Nikolaus and she looked at Rose. She wanted a moment alone, woman to woman with her. She gave her a polite smile and went to stand. "May I have a word alone with you Rose?" She turned and looked at David. "David will behave, she smiled at him but her eyes said a different story. There didn't need to be any type of behavior from him other than being polite. She set her glass down on the table and waited to see if Rose would walk with her for a moment.

David's efforts to display the most respectful and polite attitude as possible towards them were not lost on Rose. Quite the opposite. This peaceful behaviour and the presence of Aisha with him were the only reasons why the Regent accepted to indulge his curiosity and answered his questions so easily. She could easily guess, just like Nikolaus did, what David's first assumption had been. And the mere idea that he'd have believed Nikolaus and her capable of playing with the young witch's life in such a petty way was somewhat insulting. But Rose soon realized that Aisha and David were both genuinely worried about Jillian, that they truly cared for her. Coming from Aisha, it was not that surprising. From David, however... The Tremere Regent had to wonder how high his 'humanity' could be for him to react like that. Whatever the case, David had shown no disrespect or aggression towards them, plus he was... from a pretty rare bloodline to say the least. That made him interesting.
"Put shortly, the treaty is a mutual agreement between the Camarilla and the Ministry of Magic to uphold each other's secrecy and ensure harmony between us. We take it very seriously and any kindred from our sect that would ignore this treaty and attack a witch or a wizard would face grave consequences." They would be staked at best, if not simply killed. "For this reason, I would appreciate if you could tell us more about the Kindred that attacked Jillian and in which area of London the attack took place."
What David said about Jillian's reaction to the story of his embrace was perfectly consistent with what the Tremere knew of the young girl. That said, Rose couldn't help but smirk when the Son of Discord said he thought she would be more suited teaching at Hogwarts that Mary was. She knew better, of course, than to comment on that. Instead she simply said: "I always thought it must be very interesting to teach at a school such as Hogwarts."
When David asked about the 'progenitors', or the Antediluvians as they were often called, Rose turned towards Nikolaus. "Ah, yes. Quite the controversial topic, isn't it? Now I do believe that Nikolaus and I have pretty much the same take on the subject, so I shall let him answer." The fact that she was now using her whip's first name showed that, in her mind at least, their conversation was turning less formal and friendlier. She had also noticed that Aisha was trying to get her attention, so she figured this was as good a subject as any to keep the two men busy while they were gone.
She nodded to the witch, set her own wyne glass down and stood up. "Certainly." While it surprised her to hear that Aisha was moving to America, it only served to confirm her earlier assumption: the ring on her finger most likely was an engagement ring. Did that mean she seriously intended on eloping to marry a vampire? For now, she decided to keep her questions to herself. She simply followed Aisha and waited for her to speak first.

Rose had, again, taken the words out of his mouth. Nikolaus is unsure of why David would need to stay away from the Daughters of Cacophony, but, well, that's not his problem. The Daughters made it a point not to support either the Camarilla or the Sabbat, and the affairs of a rare bloodline aren't even in the top one hundred things he cares about right now. "You know what they say about curiosity and cats. Of course, Mademoiselle Penrose is no ordinary cat, is she?" he asked rhetorically, as Rose got up from her seat.
A question about the Antediluvians. Great. Just the topic he didn't want to broach... Noddism. He nods as Rose leaves with Aisha, shooting off one last telepathic message before she leaves its range: 'If you need me, you know how to reach me.'
Turning back to David, Nikolaus takes a sip of his own wyne. "You speak of the Camarilla's position on the Antediluvians. No doubt the Sabbat has you thinking we deny their very existence, that we believe Caine is a character in a book, that the moon landing was a hoax, and that we think the earth is flat and five thousand years old." And that Elvis is a Toreador and the current Prince of Nashville. "There are thin-bloods, tenth generation, ninth, eighth... so on, and so forth. Logically, there would have to be a Third Generation. What we question is whether or not they are still alive." He folded his hands on the table in front of him, leaning back in his seat. "You have been to Los Angeles, non? You are a celebrity, I'd imagine so. In the year 2002, the Prince of Los Angeles, one Sabastian LaCroix, truly believed a torpid Antediluvian was brought to the city in a recently-excavated sarcophagus. He intended to diablerize whatever was inside. Needless to say, the sarcophagus contained no such thing, and he met his Final Death shortly afterward."
Nikolaus couldn't suppress the smirk that followed. How he loved hearing that story during his time studying in the LA Chantry. "Of course, you do realize you are asking this question to a Tremere? We are unliving proof that the Antediluvians once existed. A topic around which I'd recommend treading carefully, especially with Exo. But to answer your question... we don't question their existence. We question their continued existence. I realize that's splitting hairs, but it's an important distinction none the less."

Aisha listened for a moment as Rose replied to David. When Rose stood with her, they walked away from the gentlemen. "Please forgive me if I am pulling you away." She said quietly. She wondered if she was going to cause issues with anyone with what she was about to say to Rose quietly.
"I am not sure if this will cause issues or not Rose." She said. Mine as well speak her mind right? "I am worried about Miss. Penrose and her curiosity. Not that I would want to stop her. Just reroute her avenue so to speak." She was a bit nervous and it showed in how she was quick on her words and then slowed down. "I would much prefer you keep an eye on her when possible then other cultist getting their tendrils on her. I don't trust the cultist one's around and I fear that it might become an issue for Miss. Penrose and I would not like to see her becoming a cultist as well."
She tried to choose her words without putting names down and she hoped that Rose would understand what it was that she was saying. The woman was smart enough and Aisha had thought it would be understood. "I love David, I won't leave his side, not that I could at this point. If, well when the time comes that the next step happens. What happens?" She sighed and rubbed her temples. She was stressed in the moment. She was almost speaking rhetorically at this point. "I won't join them. I can't. I don't care what anyone says. But then my fear is of David." She seemed defeated almost, much different then her last time visiting the Regent. "What happens to him? What will happen if I don't join them? Will the go after him? Why? Why do I have to choose a side? I don't want to be a cultist. I cannot stand their tactics."
She sighed again. Her mind was reeling and it wandered back to David. She didn't want to cause him pain, hurt him. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to be with him, wanted forever, they were engaged after all. She knew that the blood was affecting her, knew that it changed some parts of her way of thinking, though she also knew that she loved him. She wondered if that was caused more deeply because of the bond as well. His voice in her head again. It sent a chill down her spine and she stood stoically as the song he sang from that night seemed to still haunt her. She sighed.
"Forgive me for letting my mind and words wander. They are not your concerns. Would you watch her? Miss. Penrose that is?" She looked at the woman who was with her. A polite smile on her face that didn't reach her worn and worried eyes.

David quietly listened to Rose as she explained the treaty between the Camarilla and the Ministry here in London. Truthfully it sounded very fair to him and what he could gather both sides benefited. Even the consequences sounded just and honestly even though he was not part of their sect even he would honor the treaty. "The treaty sounds fair and just." David give a slight nod of respect to Rose.
"She was attacked in Regents Park. The two that attempted were at the most one to two years of the embrace with how they used their tactics. Very sloppy and no sense of the area in my opinion. Both had long hair, biker apparel, definitely unkempt. The first one I had to well....when you have a deathly fear of fire it works and the other backed off and knew to leave. Neither actually touched her that I am aware of. They both were not a part of my bishop's pack. So from there I escorted Jillian to our home to Aisha for safety." He spoke truthfully.
When the ladies left David turned his attention to Nikolaus and listened very intently about the views of the Camarilla and honestly it did not fully match up to what Maria had told him about their sect and at the moment David was very confused. Had Maria used propaganda and stretched the truth with him? "So in essence you do not deny them but question if they still exist. I understand." David nods in respect and then smiles and even chuckles about Sebastian LaCroix.
"Oh when I was told....my apologies but I could not stop laughing at the fact that he thought he actually had one." David had to pause to help himself stop laughing. "It was the talk of the independents for quite some time honestly and in truth what happened to him to me he got what he deserved. Gaining knowledge and such is one thing but to even attempt to go after such power in a crazy fashion to me is suicide."
David take a drink from his glass. "Please forgive me if I do not understand what you speak of in regards to your clan and Exo's. After I was embraced I ended up sleeping for 233 years on an island near The Straits of Gibraltar after a horrendous storm at sea that destroyed the ship I was on with my sire. I awoke in 1980 and have been trying to play catch up ever since." Another nod.
"As for curiosity....yes it does always kill the cat as they say. Mlle Penrose doit marcher très attentivement dans ce qu'elle cherche et où elle cherche une telle connaissance. C'est peut-être pourquoi j'ai ... devenir son amie. J'espère juste qu'elle l'écoute de temps à autre. (Miss Penrose needs to tread very carefully in what she seeks and where she seeks such knowledge. Perhaps that is why I have....become her friend. I just hope she does listen from time to time.)"

Somehow Rose had guessed Aisha wanted to talk about Jillian. She was not sure why she didn't want either David or Nikolaus to overhear their conversation but she wasn't going to ask. She listened to her the whole time, without interuption. Using Auspex to read her emotions wasn't even remotely necessary at that point. She was worried, and excited and stressed out. The complete opposite of Rose right then.
When the other woman was done talking, the Tremere laid her hazel eyes on her and said: "I do hope you don't take what I'm about to say the wrong way but... the first time we met it seemed to me that Mary and you were friends. May I enquire what might have caused you to come to trust someone you hardly know, like me, over someone you used to call a friend?"
She paused. "The reason I'm asking actually has something to do with the mission you want to entrust me with. I do believe Jillian Penrose is curious about me and Nikolaus. That could help me get to her. But it is obvious she has far more admiration and trust for you and David. Therefore if you want her to be safe from the influence of the... other party," Everyone knew who they were talking about and it was only for the sake of not drawing the attention of a Sabbat supporter that she didn't say the word out loud, "then, you have to tell her some Kindred can be trusted rather than others and tell her you wish for her to see me as a mentor in your absence. I am willing to try and protect her but her stance has to be clear. Because of the truce I made with Mary's pack, it would put me and the rest of my sect in a bad spot if it looks like I'm trying to pull towards me someone they already consider as theirs. Based on what you say, it is not yet the case. And if Jillian decides by herself to have me as her Guardian, then I'll be legitimate to intervene if she were to get in trouble later." The blonde leaned in a bit closer to Aisha. "As I said before, I would not have led Jillian to a safe place on her first meeting if I hadn't thought she had potential. But the fact that she revealed to you where her assignment came from us can only mean two things: either she has a great amount of trust and respect for you or she can easily be swayed. I am sincerely hoping for the former."
She kept silent for a while before broaching the second subject. And for once, Rose went about it in a rather blunt way. "You're bound to him, aren't you? So it's too late for you to want to try and protect him by staying away from him. Yet, I won't lie, it would have been the safest option for both of you. If you do not wish to join the sect he belongs to and he wishes to indulge you by leaving them, then you'll both be in danger. ...Unless," Rose's expression and looks turned very serious, "you choose to join a different one." It was obvious Rose was suggested they'd join the Camarilla. "Then you could ask your new sect for protection. But switching sect is not as easy as being transferred from one school to another. David would have to prove he's severed every past ties he might have had with them and be... convincing." Rose, as a Regent, might vouch for him but she'd have to be fully convinced first. She was not about to risk her reputation over something hazardous. Not when her future position as Prince of London was at stake.

"Oui, c'est ça," Nikoaus replied. "If they aren't dead, they're woefully disinterested in us. The Jyhad doesn't wait for elders, no matter how old. We have far more pressing concerns."
It was a good story, wasn't it? One he would taunt the Ventrue with more often if he actually knew more of them. Almost all of his interactions were with his own clan, at least until he arrived in Knockturn Alley. "A cautionary tale to the Blue Bloods, and one they find very embarrassing. They had a lot of difficulty explaining that one away, that one of their own is responsible for Los Angeles being controlled not by the Camarilla or the Sabbat, but the Anarchs. Of course, the Tremere maintains a strong presence. Maximilian Strauss felt it was his duty to pick up the pieces after LaCroix's miserable failure."
His eyes narrowed at David's next question. Narrowed... a lot.
He knows that while David may be older, David has already all but admitted that he's been out of the loop with Kindred society. "Tell me, how much do you know about Clan Tremere's history?" He's not about to let too much slip; certainly not in front of a bunch of witches and wizards who had clearly forgotten a lot of important details over the centuries, themselves.

David found himself remembering how the independents spoke in New York after the whole ordeal in Los Angeles with LaCroix. Indeed it was the talk of the city and in certain circles stirred the pot to say the least. But as with every good gossip or story eventually it faded only to be brought up every once in a while and then to vanish once more to eternity.
Nikolaus' question caused David to lower his glass and back to the table and truthfully he thought what he knew of clan Tremere and his answers would be in a whisper. "Honnêtement, monsieur, tout ce que je sais, c'est la secte dont vous appartenez et la magie du sang comme on l'appelle. Je ne sais rien d'autre. Il y a tellement que j'ai encore besoin de connaître les clans, mais mon long sommeil m'a privé de cette période, alors j'apprends ce que je peux du bouche à oreille. Ce qui est honnêtement très peu. D'ailleurs, je ne vais pas demander à chaque Cainite quel clan ils sont. (Honestly sir, all I know is the sect you belong to and blood magic as it is called. I know of nothing else. There is so much I still need to learn about the clans but my long sleep deprived me of that time so I learn what I can from word of mouth. Which honestly is very little. Besides I do not go around asking every Cainite what clan they are.)"
He returns to his glass and looks back to Nikolaus. "Pardonnez-moi si ce n'est pas la réponse que vous recherchiez, mais c'est la vérité. Le seul clan avec qui j'ai eu des relations est les artisans. (Forgive me if that is not the answer you were seeking but it is the truth. The only clan I have ever had dealings with is the Artisans.)" David glances around a moment and could sense other kindred and wondering if any of the females were daughters. Once more his gaze returned to Nikolaus.
"Je dois avouer que je suis très curieux de votre histoire. Très rarement, je rencontre un qui parle parfaitement notre langue. (I must admit to you I am very curious of your story. Very rarely do I come across one that speaks our language so perfect.)"

Aisha shrugged her shoulders, very unbecoming of her but she didn't have a polite answer. "Many things have transpired over the last several weeks since last we met. Things that cause me to question motives, intentions, under lying things that she is most likely taking control in. Things I don't agree with for many reasons. One of which is Miss Penrose going to someone to learn that may not have the best of attentions for the witch." She sighed again. "I get the whole recruitment thing." She whispered softly. "But from my point of view, anyone not Sabbat, is better in my book." She nearly said it under her breathe but it was meant for Rose's ears and her ears alone.
"As for Miss. Penrose, David and I can take care of that. The only problem will lie in the fact that the Ministry has no idea who the Sabbat really are, who Mary really is under the facade of it all." She really did feel the stress of it all and the worse part was she just wanted to give up to the voice inside of her. That damned song of David's from that night, she wondered if it wouldn't have been best for him to leave her instead of doing this. The thought only lasted but a moment before she thought about David and his love for her and how much she loved him. A faint smile on her face appears as she looks down at the ring on her finger, the smile reaches her eyes for a moment before her thoughts are once more pulled from within.
"I think more or less it isn't so much that she has such things for myself other than as a Professor of hers, I honestly believe it is because of David. His eyes, his voice, the way he saved her. I do believe she is quite smitten with him." She looked off in the distance. "His voice is what brought her to speak with us. She didn't want to bring it up at all to me but as I was concerned, I asked David to give him a little of his voice to calm her down and let her open up her questions. She was only swayed because of that." She was silent for as long as Rose, listening to the noises in the background though not quite focusing on anything in-particular.
"Yes, I am. That is what caused this little issue to begin with." She growled low in her throat. "I watched what his damned bishop did. Pompous fool." She seemed to seethe anger from every pore over that man. "Even before the third stage. I made a vow, a promise to protect David. I stand by them, even if Exo" She spewed his name out. "Thinks I am tamed. Bah!" She stretched her neck and heard it pop slightly, her jaw clinched. She took several deep breathes. She needed to meditate again. She didn't like all this anger built up in her. It wasn't an emotion she related to well, her hand found the vial of her own blood wrapped around her wrist and she clutched it, wishing with all that she could just break the vial and be damn the consequences. Another breathe.
When Rose made the suggestion about switching sides Aisha cast an sideways glance at her. "Well, I do say that if he has to prove his loyalty the same way they do and then again with the things they do as well on top of it all. I am not sure. I know next to nothing about the inner workings of it all. I don't even know if David knows it all himself. But from where I am at the current moment, is one cult better than another?" She wasn't trying to insult Rose by any means. For anything she only compared what Rose's sect was based on what she knew of the Sabbat, she had no way of knowing what it was truly like.
Then Aisha laughed. A wholehearted laugh filled with a sort of malice to it. "As for severing ties, David and I have had a few ideas we've contemplated." She sobers from her laughter as she thinks about the conversation David and her had when determining if Mary and Exo were better served up as tea cups or porcelain dolls.
"I degrees though. I just simply wish for Jillian to be protected and looked after while she walks whatever path she chooses to follow. I know it won't be easy with the simple fact that she will be at Hogwarts with the Professor. I cannot stay though. David resides in another country. I must follow him, he is where I belong and though I worry over students, I worry for him first." She smiles softly, seemingly returning to her once pleasant self, though there is an underlying anger settling deep within her, the anger being drowned out by her love for David and wanting to be by his side for as long as he would have her. Even when he didn't she would stay in the background, always protecting him, loving him. She would do anything for the man she would call Husband one day.

Rose quirked a surprised eyebrow at Aisha's vehement reaction and couldn't help but smirk. "You already sound like one of our members." She answered just as softly. The smile faded quickly, though. "You believe they may not have the best intentions towards Jillian in particular or towards witches in general?" One way or another it seemed in contradiction with the treaty both sects had made with the Ministry of Magic. "I suppose you do not wish to tell me more about the 'things' that had you doubt Mary's pack's motives, do you?" Rose found it quite interesting to hear from Aisha that the Ministry of Magic didn't have the right perception of who the Sabbat and Mary in particular truly were. Although she didn't have that many interactions with her, for obvious reasons, the Tremere Regent had come to know Mary pretty well. As pleasant and polite as she might appear when you talked to her, the Lasombra was extremely cunning and dangerous. Just like Rose herself. Maybe that was why they held mutual respect for each other. But that never prevented them from trying to get the upper hand. As long as neither of them broke the terms of the truce, it was fair game. Therefore, Rose would very much have liked for Aisha's comment to reach the ears of a few well-placed people at the Ministry, especially if the message was to be delivered by Aisha herself. Yet, since Aisha and David were planning on leaving the country soon, it was unlikely to happen. The Tremere then listened carefully to Aisha's explanation as to how they had coaxed Jillian into telling them about her 'assignment'. Well, of course, if the Son of Discord had used one of his special abilities to persuade the young witch to talk, Rose couldn't blame the current situation on Jillian's lack of resolve or loyalty anymore. The blonde realized she was pretty happy about it. "Thanks for telling me this. I shall not hold it against Jillian, then. And if you and your fiancé can talk to her, I might start teaching her ways of protecting herself next time she comes visit me." Of course, she wouldn't teach her any secret or ritual of the Tremere. But there were still things Rose could explain to the young witch in order for her to be able to tell if she was being ' recruited' or not, as the Transfiguration Professor had put it. "I see." Rose replied simply. So despite being blood bonded to David, Aisha still seemed to genuinely believe her love for that Kindred was the stronger bond of two? That was very interesting, to say the least. "What's the name of David's bishop, if I may ask?" She probably knew him or at the very least, she knew of him. Her eyes drifted to the vial around Aisha's wrist. She was pretty sure it was some kind of phylactery or protective charm, but to protect from what or from whom? Rose had a few guesses of her own but she wasn't about to ask about it just now. "Don't worry. Nothing we do is done the same way they do it," Rose replied with a soft snort. She looked at Aisha curiously as she mentioned having comtemplating a few ideas to severe those ties. "Such as?" she enquired politely. "I might be able to help you choose between options." Should Aisha decide to answer, she would use Auspex to make sure she was telling her the truth. "You made that abundantly clear. Now, let's say I agree to become Jillian's night chaperone as she ventures into the world of darkness, you have to understand I will not be able to watch over her as well as you could, especially while she's at Hogwarts. Also, you and I would need to remain in contact, in case anyone among the witches and wizards were to question my motives for protecting her. Are you familiar with the Elysium known as Castle Vampyre?"

"You understand that I am not at liberty to discuss much," Nikolaus answered, both in regards to himself and the origins of Clan Tremere. "But the story of the clan gaining its legitimacy is no secret."
"As you may have heard, we are the second youngest of the Kindred clans. Our founder was not one of the Childer of the First City." He takes a sip of his wyne. As he does so, David would feel the slightest pressure in his skull.
As Nikolaus sipped the wyne and glanced at his watch, David would hear Nikolaus' voice, clear as day, in his head. C'est vrai, the Tremere cannot trace our lineage to Caine. Our Founder is his own sire.
He would say no more on the subject; that much was common knowledge among Kindred. As was the next part, which he said aloud. "Our Thaumaturgy, as we call it, was not enough to solidify our legitimacy amongst the other clans, formidable as it was even then. Thus, our founder diablerized Saulot, the Salubri Antediluvian, while the rest were hunted nearly to extinction on accusations of infernalism. By the time the Camarilla was founded after the Anarch Revolt, we had amassed so much power for ourselves that we were welcomed with open arms as a founding clan. Now, we are inextricable," a word that, unbeknownst to him, is identical in English as it is in French except for pronunciation. "Only the Ventrue rival us for supremacy in the Camarilla." And that was because they've always been the unofficial leaders of the Camarilla, with their disproportionate representation in Princedoms and their iron grip on global finance.
Nothing he said wasn't public knowledge. Not a single Tremere secret was revealed. As for the question David asked about Nikolaus himself, he shrugged. "English is not such a complicated language to learn when you compare it to French. Also, I spent a while in Los Angeles, like I mentioned before, and I couldn't count on other Kindred to try and understand me. So I had to learn fast." From the way he said that, he clearly meant more than just learning the language.[/quote]

Aisha rubbed her temples for a moment listening to Rose. "I do not know. I just don't trust like I once did." She sighed. "As for what happened, I believe for now it is best to keep that bit between David and I." She didn't really know if telling the story would bring about a problem and cause more issues. She certainly didn't want to be the one to cause anything between these two and Mary's pack. Even if she was moving away with David, they could still be called back at a moment's notice.
She laughed, it wasn't a happy laugh by any means more of a laugh that was just caused when nerves rose to their peek and one did something foolish, as she did. Even if she felt she was protecting her love. "Exo." She replied. "Tea cups or porcelain dolls." She smirked. "I think the dolls would just be too creepy. Why give them eyes to see the world. Cups on the other hand can be multipurpose." She chuckled. It was more of a joke between her and David but wouldn't it be interesting none the less to be able to do such a thing. The repercussions though out weighed the gain and she wouldn't put David in harms way even if it was a fun topic.
"Remaining in contact isn't an issue. As for Elysium, no I have not heard of it. As for Hogwarts, well if they let one in to teach, why not another?" She chuckled softly. "Certainly would give even ground in some places I am sure." She eyed the woman. It would be interesting to hear through the grape vines if one from each sect had begun to teach. Would be interesting indeed. Even more so if it was the Ministries idea and not the vampires that roamed the city. Something she could probably help with if she was so inclined. Then again the recourse could be drastic for David. So she still wasn't even sure of that option.

David remained quiet as Nikolaus spoke to him once more. "Yes I understand. Just as I am not at liberty to speak of other origins." He whispers in respect. What Nikolaus first spoke of he had known and then felt a slight pressure into his mind but did not resist though in truth he hated others in his head but he would remain respectful. Now hearing him in his head David just kept his eyes locked to Nikolaus and listened to every word being spoken to him right now right down to the diablerie of Saulot the Antediluvian of Exo's clan. The gift Exo had used on him David knew to be a form of Valeran.
"The blue bloods...." David had to chuckle. "Forgive me before speaking with Mary there was a group of blue bloods that tried to well recruit me and well their tactics never sat well with me. I would not say it was a recruitment more like them making demands of me to join and honestly I am the type that does not take demands well unless I know it is in my best interests. Besides bugging me every night thinking that will work as well.....yeah." David left it at that. He had no love for the Ventrue and what they did to acquire people and things.
"English is alright. I find myself as of late falling back to our native language for frequently. Could be the fact I am growing home sick or desire the old days upon the sea. I never know. But listen. Despite who I am loyal to, both of you will have no issue with me or my pack in New York. Honestly you both are more than welcome in my territory for visits if you wish. Of course there are rules yes but....should you ever find yourself across the ocean and there know I will do all I can to make sure the both of you have a good time in my city." He smiles.

“Like a wise man once wrote: I trust everyone. I just don't trust the devil inside them.” Rose said softly, with a knowing smirk. “I will not ask you to put yourself or David at risk by revealing anything to me. But trust, as you just so aptly put it, often is the heart of the matter. I need to know that if you were to learn something that could impact me or my sect you’d tell me. And, even if I don’t truly belong to this world anymore, if it were to affect witches or wizards, I would like to know as well.”
She paused, studying Aisha once more. But the witch’s current state of agitation aside, Rose couldn’t detect any attempt at lying or deceiving her. “It comes at a surprise to me that you would come and ask for my help. I sure do understand where you come from with that and I see no reason to refuse your request. I only hope that if you were to fail to severe your ties with them and they managed to convince you to trust them like they once did, you wouldn’t come to regret it.” The Tremere looked at her, her gaze turning somewhat softer. Whenever Rose quitted her all business and severe attitude, it made her natural quarter-Veela beauty stand out even more. “I do like you, Aisha. So, I’m going to tell you this, from a former witch to one who still is: whatever you decide to do in the future, please think twice before giving up on your witch’s powers. I have no regrets about my own choice… but most people find the loss too hard to bear.” She gave Aisha a few moments to take in what she’d just said before she spoke on. “Exo, of course. Such a busy individual. And tea cups, huh?” Rose pretended to ponder this a moment. “The idea has merits but it wouldn’t prevent them from trying to have us swallow their bitter ideas.” she said with a wink.
“It is a neutral place where Kindred can meet safely, whatever their affiliation and current geographical location. Ask your fiancé, he knows the place very well. I don’t believe you, as a mortal, have any way of entering the Elysium, but if you trust David to be your messenger, I shall trust him too.”
Rose tilted her head, thoughtfully. It was the second time tonight someone suggested she should teach at Hogwarts. “I’m going to be honest with you. If there was ever an opportunity for me to be able to teach classes at Hogwarts, I would seize it in an instant.” And from the determined look on her face, Aisha would be able to tell that the Tremere Regent was most serious about it. “Do you happen to have heard of any position that would be available, well, to my kind?” By that, she meant both ‘vampire’ and ‘without wizarding skills’, regular ones at least.

"They rarely hide their self-interest," Nikolaus conceded. "But I will grant that they did not gain their current position by being fools. They respect power above all else. Their respect has to be earned. Clan Tremere has done that and more."
Nikolaus hummed quietly at the mention of English. He had only been speaking it for a few years now, and Rose was definitely the more fluent of the two. It was necessary for his current position, and if it meant he could serve alongside Rose, he'd learn English, Russian, Arabic, Icelandic, or Cherokee. He didn't care. He'd do whatever it took to stay at her side.
His next statement made him blink. "Impressive that Calabros has turned a blind eye to you for so long." Or was it disappointing? "I have no doubt that Rose will appreciate your olive branch, Monsieur, but we are here in Knockturn Alley for a reason. Our mission is of hautement prioritaire."

Aisha listened to Rose and took several calming breathes. She smiled softly. "I do not know if or when a situation arises how it could possibly effect you or your sect, but if I hear of anything and it puts my thought on you, I shall do so. As for the witches and wizards side, if it is drastic enough I can offer to inform you as well. I think though here in our world where you are at currently though, you would most likely hear long before I would." She looked at her and smiled softly.
"I came to you, because you are the one who assigned such a task to one of my students. I have no concern that you were trying to fool her or intend her harm. I presume it has been along while since you were her age, teenagers aren't always so logical in finding out answers to questions they seek." She sighed again and thought about the things that had made her regret recently. It really wasn't much to be quite honest. Heck she didn't even regret the fact that she put her wand in Exo's face. Though it was foolish and she probably should regret it but how could she? It brought her and David closer, now they were engaged. A wider smile on her face.
"I don't know if ties can truly be severed. I don't understand the depths of either sects, cults. Which ever term you prefer. I have never harmed anyone, I don't plan on starting now and though I joke about turning them into objects, that could only bring about a worse fate that I prefer to avoid." Her eyes didn't seem to be placed on Rose, they seemed off in the distance for a moment.
She waved her hand. "We have discussed this already, David and I that is. There are no plans anytime soon for my embrace. I rather enjoy my magic, my ability to fly, my passion to teach the new students. He knows that I want to follow this path." She smiles softly. "It shall be interesting once classes start in the fall how things turn out. He has told me, as well as Mary what will occur with this final stage of the bond that was inflicted upon me. I hope that I can at least focus on my studies and my students when the time comes." She said softly.
"As for classes, I am sure with your knowledge there could be a place there. Maybe Ancient Ruins, or Alchemy, not to be confused with Potions of course, and then I am sure, if you could convince the Ministry, Vampire 101 is taught by Professor Kestral, maybe you two work on something more advanced for the students in upper classes? Say 6th or 7th year. Not for recruitment obviously and not share all the secrets that you both guard so beautifully. But knowledge of maybe different types of Kindred, the history of how you came to be even. I wouldn't say to go as far as showing off some particular gifts that one is afforded but if can't hurt to show simple vampiric magic. These are just thoughts. If anything it could bring Mary and you closer in collaboration with your differences." She really didn't understand their differences, she much prefer the thought of everyone gets along for the greater good, for the purpose of the secrecy of keeping everyone out of muggle eyes.
She turned and looked at the men but still spoke to Rose. "I would like hear if you are able to obtain such a position. I think it could do well for both sides. A step in the right direction for all of us that have to maintain the secrets of the others."

David was silent for a moment and rubbed his face a bit. "Please forgive me if I come off as rude because it is not my intention. But I truly have no love for the blue bloods. Perhaps chalk it up to what they did to me in New York. But honestly respect is earned and in hind sight they have earned their place so for that point respect is given." He nods and finishes his glass. "With your clan I know so little but none the less you and the lady have my respect. Not just because of the treaty but with speaking with the both of you."
David once more looks around the tavern and noticed a woman watching him and he paused and watched the woman look away. "Calebros....Honestly he is very reclusive so I have yet to have the luxury of meeting him face to face. But I do not bother him and it appears that I have not stepped on any of his ventures so....a mutual understanding perhaps. Only time will tell on that." The last statement David understood.
"I understand. In the end we all have something we are tied up in or goals to pursue. None the less the offer stands." David fell quiet now and could still feel the eyes of the woman on him. He was no uncomfortable but the way the woman was staring did not sit well with him.

"I would really appreciate that," Rose simply replied. "We hear of many things but it can sometimes be difficult to know what is accurate. I would value what you tell me more than what I randomly learn."
What Aisha said next did not come as a surprise. Although she was not criticizing the Regent’s methods of education – hell, she wouldn’t be suggesting she became a teacher at Hogwarts, no less, otherwise - yet, her words once more betrayed how concerned and protective of her students she was. Rose tended to go by 'sink or swim', like most Tremere, but it was true that Jillian was the younger 'student' she’s had for as long as she could remember. Maybe helping her find her path would require some adjusting on both sides. "I suppose you have a point there."
The Tremere listened to the part about her not wanting to be embraced, even by the one she obviously loved, to be able to keep her magic and to be able to carry on teaching students with interest and a small smile on her face. That sounded like Aisha alright. She sounded less sure about wanting to sever ties than at the beginning of their conversation, now that the adrenaline rush had passed and she was talking more calmly, but she was still contemplating the idea. So, who knew? Time would tell. "As long as you’re aware of the risk and consequences, that’s all that matters."
"Those sound like good options," she replied in regard to the classes Aisha suggested she could teach. Rose smirked slightly. "Alchemy happened to be one of my favorite subjects when I was Jillian’s age." And the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic happened to be well-known for having had several famous alchemists among its students. "You’ll be the first one to know… besides the person who hires me, of course."

"Disparage the self-proclaimed Clan of Kings all you like, their feelings aren't my concern," Nikolaus replied dismissively. But what he said next, Nikolaus could tell was genuine. He nodded, but his expression remained unchanged. "Reassuring, to know that knowledge is not required for respect."
"Few want to meet him face to face, and not because he is a Nosferatu. Mais malheureusement, the Tradition of Domain would demand it, were we to take you up on your offer." A sigh. "Again, hopefully. It will not be in the near future."
Nikolaus caught David's fidgeting. He'd been trained to read body language long before he mastered Auspex. Nikolaus' eyes followed David's, but he realized he couldn't turn to look, himself, without being obvious. Taking his wyne, he reached out with Auspex once more to Rose.
'I think we have company, Rose,' he thought to her. 'The woman at the bar, the one that keeps looking at David and I. What does her aura show?'

Aisha smiled softly. She was still fighting inside herself with everything that she was learning and the things she did and didn't like about it all.
"If I hear anything that might be use, I will go about doing my best to send you information. Keeping consequences in mind for myself of course." She wasn't about to give away things that could get her in more trouble then she had already been in, being mortal in all in a vampiric world only added to the fact that she could be taken out with a mere thought. Even her magic couldn't hide her from the Professor if she really wanted to go after Aisha.
"Well if you need a letter of recommendation, let me know. I shall write something up for you." She was looking around the bar and then back to the men.
"Thank you for your time. I appreciate it." She wanted to go back to David. "Mind if we head back to the boys?" She asked.

The Ventrue part of the conversation he just left alone at this point. After all they did leave a bad taste in his mouth presently. The woman that was staring pulled out a photo from her purse and looked at it and to David and smiled. David orders another glass.
"The same that I must every time I come here to London. Present myself to his excellency. A custom that must always be. Never questioned and one of loyalty." David speaks with respect. His glass comes as the woman stands for a moment and then sits back down deciding if she was going to approach or not. "This side of our world is still new to me with the politics. I just hope in the end that I can keep up and not break laws and well have my head removed or worse." He drinks and ponders a lot right now.
"Though I do find myself in a bit of a problem at the moment. My loyalty to sect and the love of a mortal that dares not wish to join the sect when she tells me she is ready to become." He sighs. It had been weighing heavily on his mind as of late.

"That sounds fair." Rose replied. "And I think such a letter would be most welcome coming from someone of your skill level." Further to this conversation, the blond vampire knew she'd be considering the possibility of becoming a teacher at Hogwarts even more seriously than before.
"Let's join them, yes. Men tend to put themselves into all kinds of impossible situations when left to their own devices," she added casually, with a dismissive handwave. "May be some other time we could be the ones visiting you? Before your departure for the United States?"
And, speaking of the 'boys', the Tremere heard her Whip's voice in her head just as they were walking back to the table. She briefly wondered why he needed her to read that woman's aura instead of doing it himself but eventually, curiosity got the best of her. She turned towards the bar and had no difficulty spotting the woman in question, since she was still staring at David.

Nikolaus could not turn to face the woman without it being obvious; but he could still call the waitress over. He motioned for the waitress to come back to their table. "Would you kindly bring us the check please?" He asked, taking the opportunity to glance sideways at the woman with the photograph.
She's probably just a groupie, but you can't be too careful.
"Just as the Ventrue could not force you to join the Camarilla, you cannot force her to join the Sabbat," Nikolaus said bluntly. The Camarilla may claim dominion over all kindred on paper, but in practice, it's a very different story. "She is loyal to you. That loyalty obviously does not extend to the Sabbat as a whole. And as a Son of Discord, you of all people should know that you can't force loyalty to a sect."
Even the Tremere's Transubstantion of the Seven enforced loyalty to the Pyramid, and not to the Camarilla. Any Tremere inside of the Pyramid would say that they are Tremere first and Camarilla second, even if they know the Camarilla is as essential to the clan's survive as the Tremere is to the sect's survival. The Ventrue, for all of their bluster, know that they can't lead the sect alone, and without the Tremere, the Toreador would immediately try to grab power from the Ventrue, the Nosferatu would threaten to leave should they succeed, and then the Brujah would have no more reason to stay, either, and would leave to join with the Gangrel in the Anarchs. And the Malkavians... well, who the hell knew, with them?
"Beyond stating the obvious, I cannot advise you. That is something you, et vous seulement, can solve."
He stood up and gave Rose and Aisha a smile as both women returned to their table.

Aisha smiled. "I hope you two enjoy your conversation." She smiles as David stands when Nikolaus does and she kisses him softly on the lips.
"Before you both go, I would like to show you something. Something I meant to show you both last time we met here." She smiled and took David's hand. She wasn't aware of the other woman watching David, and even if she had been aware of it, she wouldn't of cared. David was her's and she was David's. All seemed right with the world for the moment as she leaned on him.
"As for the visit. I would like that. If not before we leave, maybe you can come visit us in the states." She said to Rose as they all seemed to stand there.

David slowly stood when Nikolaus did when both Aisha and Rose returned and every word that Nikolaus spoke to him before they came in he took to heart. A lot to think about. Especially in regards to Aisha and such a decision. There were times when honestly David felt that perhaps his world and eternity were not for Aisha. Not meaning to leave her but not embrace her. Let her live out her magical life with him and when she would pass he would carry her memory forever with him. But in the end that was up to Aisha.
When Aisha took David's hand and after he returned her soft kiss he gently squeezes her hand. The woman at the bar finally got the nerve. Vampire, toreador perhaps....she walked over and David immediately turned and face the woman ready just in case this woman was a daughter. The woman smiled and extended the picture. "I would love your.....autograph." The woman smiled showing slight fangs. David slid Aisha behind him and nods. After signing the picture the female vampire glanced at Rose and Nikolaus nods in respect and goes back to the bar.
David takes a moment and turns back to all of them. He was silent right now calming himself. Needed to at the moment. He had been on edge lately with a very familiar call that was heard every once in a while but growing closer.
