Teagan thanks the cashier and walked with Matilda out to the car where the driver opened up the door and helped both girls inside. She explained the driver where abouts they would be going once the driver was inside and mentioned that the champion would be leading the way to point out the right location as they go closer. She leaned back into her seat setting her purse down on the floor of the back seat.
"I hope this is not all so over whelming little Champion" She whispered over to the girl.

The driver was a bit intimidating with his tall and bulky stature but he was very kind and polite as he opened the door and ushered them in. The girl looked around the car and put her seat belt on as Ms. T. climbed up next to her. Looking out the tented windows was so different to the girl she didn't know it would be so dark. She listened to Ms. T. speak to the driver and she nodded in response. Looking up to Ms. T she smiled. "It is not so over whelming. It would be though if I had not found a way home and was truly alone here all the way from the home." She put her hand back into Ms. T's and honestly felt the happiest ever. She fumbled with her journal and looked up a Teagan, "Would you mind if I drew you in here? I am good with animals, but you have such a pretty face and your eyes almost look like mine. Also my name is Matilda. I am not sure I told you before. Matilda Wilson." She was giddy, joyful, hopeful. She was just glowing with emotions of happiness.

Teagan smiled taking the girls hand when hers was grabbed and nods. "If you wish to draw me then that is your wish" She says with a smile. The Driver pulls away and starts on the route to the where he was told. "I do like that name little champion, but i feel champion still fits you" She nods, looking out the window as they made their way out of the down town sitting limits and out towards the home which Matilda described. "What other things do you like little champion besides creatures and drawing?"

Smiling with pure joy she couldn't wait until she could draw when she got home tonight. She would stare at Ms. T to make sure she didn't forget a single feature. Though her eyes are what draws the child. She didn't think she could ever stop smiling, her face just might stay this bright forever. She loved the name champion from Ms. T. It sounded so perfect for the girl. As the woman looked out the window, Matilda studied her profile, she would get it right and mail it to her one day so that she can always remember the champion of animals. She made a small little giggle to herself as she said that in her mind. She did love the sound of that. "Well, I love to read and be outside, I love school also, it is just boring at this point though. I always finish before hand and find myself doodling on the books and I always get in trouble. The other kids don't get me. At least most of them have families, they only stay because of courts, others run away and don't come back. But most know where they come from. They always pick on me, calling me forgotten one or left behind. It sucks. So I read books and get lost in them or I go to the animals, they understand. They always seemed to be accepting of me, never judging or anything." And like that the sad lonely little girl got lost in talking to Ms T. She knew it was only a short time left as the streets started to look familiar to her. It made her a little sad because she was sure she would not see her again, not anytime soon. Maybe as an adult? She could travel to this place in London that was on the card she handed her. She could always visit her. If anything she just hoped that when she wrote a letter that Ms. T would reply. "We are getting close, that was my school we just passed."

Teagan simply listened to her, watching her as she spoke "Well, I know you will not be forgotten from me" She says with a smile. "Sometimes others do not understand when another stands out as you have. A champion so they reject and taunt something so bright.."
It had happened to Teagan in school, that much she could remember. She looks back at the girl. "And this, is why you a Champion of Creatures, you care for them and in return they care for you.We need more people like you in our world little champion, Do not let them snuff your your light"

Matilda listened and was so caught up on her words, that she pulled out her feathered pen and wrote that quote on the side of the cover. *Do no let them snuff out your light* She loved it. "Could you write your name under the quote for me?" She held the pen up for Ms. T, her eyes so bright and the hazel fading into a bright green even though there wasn't an animal there. Not that she could see her own eyes of course, but the joy emitting from her in waves. "This, this is my stop." She almost didn't want to say it. She wished she hadn't in some way but she couldn't lie and make someone take her away that was not willing. Maybe though, hope, hope was something the little bright child was going to cling to from now on.

Teagan couldn't not help that smile the continued to spread across her face. She took the pen, signing her name in pretty calligraphy style and handed it back to her. The driver, stops pulling over and getting out the let the two girls out. ONce out of the car, Teagan extends a hand to Matilda before making her way up to the door of the house in front of them.

Matilda got out of the vehicle a bit sadden by the fact this would be last time she would see Ms. T at least until she was adult because she was going to find her one day after she made something of herself and give credit to this wonderful kind hearted soul in front of her. "I can just go inside. They aren't going to really care, I can just slip into my room." She whispered as they walked up to the door. Before turning away though she gave Ms. T one final hug, squeezing her with everything she had. "Thank you." She muttered out as silent tears began to well up in her eyes again.

Teagan walked with the girl to the door and listened to her words as she spoke. The words almost saddened her to hear she would simply go in unnoticed. "This is not a good bye little champion. Maybe we will see each other again soon yea?
She smiled giving Matilda one last hug, "Remember. Don't let them snuff you out. Shine bright little champion" She encourages wiping the tears that threatened to fall.

She left quickly not wanting to cling any longer. It was frowned upon as it was and it was getting late. Looking over her shoulder one last time the girl opened the front door and slipped into the home. Running up the stairs and into the room she shared with three other girls. Crawling onto her top bunk she curled up under her blanket, tears rolling down her face but hope and joy filled her heart.
