"To be very truthful and direct to the point Mr. Ria, Aisha and I have been discussing what I have done and not taking into consideration about your family and for that I am deeply sorry and the amends I have spoken were set by me before meeting you and your wife this evening." David spoke truthfully.
"As I look at all of you know I take care of my family. I do everything I can business wise, performance and all to make sure my family is provided for as I should. How I married Aisha yes I was very wrong but I will not stand in front of you now and tell you that I regret marrying her. I do not. She is everything to me and I would do anything to see her smile. You and your wife if you accept will becoming my family and the same will go to the both of you. I will do all I can to make sure you always smile."
He looks at Aisha and her mother. David looked back to Rahul and what came out next would even surprise Aisha. "If it helps with the understanding more I was told by Aisha that our wedding was blessed by one of the gods. There were signs that even I saw as proof of our union."

Rahul looked uncertain as to David's last words, "I believe that is something my daughter and I may have to speak of at some point." He said, his anger abated for now.
"Your word that you will safeguard my daughter and there will be no more secrets from us?" He asked, stepping forward and reaching out his right hand. His eyes remained focused on Davids, looking for even the slightest indication of falsehood. It was clear by his expression that he would have no qualms drawing his wand if he felt the need. The arm he extended was as much a promise to himself that if this oath was broken he would hunt David to the ends of the earth. In either case David had promised to do what he could to make him smile and right now that would not come easy, or cheaply.

Aisha smiled brightly, this was the best that David would get for the moment. Gods help us both should her father ever find out the rest before his passing. She knew her mother would be more understanding then her father. Hopefully in time they would let it go and live their lives as Aisha lived her's.
She patted her mother's hand again and waited as her Father offered David his hand.

David kept his eyes solidly to Rahul and stepped forward and clasped the man's hand firmly and shook. "My word to safeguard your daughter and no more secrets." The oath was given. Did he just lie yes he did but to advert anymore problems with Aisha's family he swore the oath so that Aisha would not lose her family. There was no sign at all he was hesitant or inkling he was lying and honestly if it came down to it and should the need ever arise he had ways to make Aisha's family compliant. Would he ever do such a thing that remained to be seen and all depended on Rahul.
He steps back now after releasing Rahul's hand and gives him a respectful bow then leaning up and looking to Aisha. "If I may be so bold Aisha I am very honored to bring your family into mine. They humble me." He even bows respectfully to Aisha.
Leaning up again he remains silent now and waited to see what would happen next and even prepared himself to use his gift if he had to.

The eyes that met David's were firm and determined. He gazed for a long moment and then nodded. "Very well then." Rahul was more relaxed now, willing to take David at his word. "Our family welcomes you as well. Now, I believe we have a meal ahead of us. Are you accustomed to our cuisine?" Rahul steps back, gesturing towards the dining room. Priya looks to Aisha, a tear in her eye as she squeezes her arm once more, this time in reassurance.

Aisha smiles brightly. "He has eaten many a meal I have cooked for him. A few of mother's specialties. He does enjoy curry." She smiles brightly and gives her mother a side hug. She wipes her mother's eye quickly and follows her to help her serve the meal.
She knew David would sit next to her father this evening. She already felt the soft rumbling of the tea sitting in her stomach. She only hoped that there wasn't dessert and tea after as well. She did her best though to keep things seemingly normal from her perspective.

David smiles as Aisha states that he had eaten many of her meals. "Aisha is an amazing cooking and her curry....to die for." He walks with Rahul now to the dining room and he could smell all of the food. He made the look that he was hungry but honestly at the end of this night oh it was not going to be a pretty sight at all. The teas that was just laying in his dead stomach was not feeling too well.
David walked over to where he was going to sit next to Rahul but remained standing until Rahul was seated first. He looks to Aisha and gazes. Again he was going to do everything he could so that Aisha's family remained together. Since starting to find out about his own it was becoming a big part of him. Which then caused him to think if he had any descendants.
Slowly he removes his jacket and lightly places it on the back of his chair.

With Rahul persuaded things the rest of the evening went easier. There were some comments made about the pairs appetites but little else. Rahul relaxed more and more as he ate, shaking David's hand once more at the end of the evening. Both parents exchanged a hug with Aisha and Priya even stepped forward and gave one to her daughters husband.
