Aisha looks at them both as they speak to each other. She wished she could go, but she trusted Mary to get her David back and now she trusted Exo as well. She sighed and stayed on the couch. "I will. I don't think my magic will be strong enough until morning though." She said softly before Mary leaves.
She pulls her phone back out and sends David a text, probably against her better judgement. She just had to know if he would respond this time.
She put her phone away and looked to Exo. "What if there is something more? Some sort of magic I haven't thought of? Maybe I can go back to my books and search?" She suggested and as she stood she became light headed, her world spun around and she fell back on the couch. She hadn't eaten in well over twenty-four hours.

Exo looks in time to see her fall back to the couch and he stands quickly. They might have taken just a bit more blood then they should have. "Don't move..." he says quietly as he heads into the kitchen. Opening the fridge he finds orange juice that was supposed to be for someone else but...ah well. He then searched the cabinets and found some cookies. It wasn't much but it would help. He came over with the pack of cookies and the glass of juice, placing it in front of her. "Eat, please..." he said softly, watching her.

Aisha looks at Exo as he seems to stumble off? Why was he stumbling? Or maybe it was just her vision. She wasn't quite sure but she had quite the headache suddenly.
When he came back with orange juice and cookies she gave him a quizzical look. She took the glass and drank the orange juice. "I do not indulge in cookies." She chuckled softly. She placed the glass back down and sat up. It would take a few minutes but she could have time.
"I have potions in my bag, would you mind getting them please? Mary put them in my room." She asked quietly rubbing her temples.

Exo nods and is about to go when he stops and turns to her. "This...is new to us. So you'll have to forgive me but...promise me you're not going to run off while I am gone? Mary will be upset and I want to make sure that you are safe..." This was really new to him...

"Where would I go?" She looked at him. "I am here for him." She said softly.
"My own place doesn't seem to satisfy Mary, so going back would be for naught. I know this. I have no where else to go. My parents don't even know any of this. I am not putting that on them. It isn't their concern. They will find out soon enough." She sighed and leaned her head back against the couch.
"I am not running anywhere."

Exo nods. "I know there is a lot going on. And Renee will wish he never went looking for his childe when we are done." He turns and cracks his neck. "Never..." He then heads on upstairs to the spare room and within a few moments finds the potions. Blinking at all of them, he grabbed a few and brought them back down. "I am not sure which of these is the right one..."

Aisha said nothing as she stared at Exo. Did he really feel that strongly for David? She hadn't seen that before? Was her anger that blinding? She sighed and watched him go. When he came back she looked at the potions he handed her and chuckled softly.
"Well this one is. The others are for other things." She took them anyway and placed the ones she didn't need on the table. She could put them away later. She took the restorative blood potion and popped the cork and drank it down. It took less then a moment before she felt normal to some degree.
"Thank you." She said.

He nods and goes back to sit in his chair. This is a more quiet...reserved Exo. He was calmer as time went on from the onslaught of...the moment they had all shared. After a minute, he looks over at her and finds her eyes. "I promised you a secret I do believe..." he said quietly.

She looked up at him. Did he? She didn't quite recall until she thought on it for a moment.
"I guess you did." She chuckled softly. "Forgive me for ruining yours and Mary's evening. I have not been myself as of late." She sighs and brings her legs back up with her on the couch.

Exo shakes his head. "You didn't ruin anything. This was important and we are glad you came to us. We want to help. We are going to help. We are going to find him." He seems like he wants to breathe in and out slow. "I trust you...and I want to keep building on that trust. So come here please." As she does, he sits up. "Has David told you about this?" he asks, pointing to his bandanna that completely covers his forehead.

Aisha stands and walks over towards him but doesn't do any more then stand there looking at the bandanna.
"No. I don't think we covered that particular topic. It didn't seem of use to be honest. It just seems like a style that people enjoy and I just presumed you were one of those people."
She said looking at it wondering why he was bringing up something so common as a bandanna.

Exo nodded. "Just...don't get scared." He actually takes a breath as he reaches behind his head. "I'm sure you can understand why we call David 'Songbird'. And Mary has her shadows. My powers...are a bit different. And something develops as mine get more powerful..." He unties the bandanna and let's it fall to his lap...
Dead center of his forehead is another eye that blinks open slowly, just as inky black as his other two.

Aisha looked at him and stared. She had never. Her mind raced. She didn't know what to think, she wasn't frightened in the least. If Exo had known her better he would know that a number of her gods and goddesses supported third eyes.
Without thinking she leaned forward, touching his forward, getting awfully close to his face, studying it. She was amazed. It was remarkable! She stood back and blinked at him, her face held wonder. "Do you not know what that means to me?" She asked him as she stared?

Exo blinks...all three eyes...as he looks at her. "No I don't. As I said, as my power develops, so did my third eye. But walking down the street with a third eye screams that something might be wrong with me...so I keep it covered up." He quirks a brow at her. "What does it mean?"

She chuckles softly. "In India they would not be so scared of it. They would possibly worship you and think you are the reincarnation of Shiva. Though Shiva is depicted with a third eye in many drawings it is not the physical form that makes the representation." She studies the eye again, moves up close to it, looks at the black depth of it.
"It is what the third eye represents. Being able to see past the dual vision of what goes on around you using it the third eye to see into a person, the real world things that our own two eyes miss. Many have studied for years in my culture to understand the third eye. I have a book on it upstairs if you wish to read about it. Many try to reach that point through mediation but it is very hard as we are only human. Your perception of the world goes into the depths of ones soul. It can see many more things than just your two eyes. Maybe you should have a sort of one way charm over it. Use it while you walk the streets, see what you can see. It would be interesting to see what you can perceive from it."
She seems to be in awe of the third eye, not being able to take her own eyes off of it as she speaks about what it means in her religion and culture.

Exo nods and keeps watching her. "I like to think that it does help me see things a bit better from a different perspective." He chuckles. "Anyway...this is my secret. Something not many know. I'll ask kindly that you keep it to yourself. We can talk about it just us or when Maria is around. But...that's it...alright?"

Aisha nodded her head and went to sit back on the couch. Still amazed about the third eye. It was a wonder in her opinion. Will their world ever cease to have an amazement to it around each corner? She wondered how many different kinds of vampire blood lines were out there. How many of them were different from the one next to them. Were all their traits physical and able to be seen like this? Obviously not, she thought but there were more out there and she wondered what those new horizons could bring.
"Yes of course. I wouldn't tell anyone. I can keep that to myself." She said smiling. She wasn't one to give secrets away though she wondered if David knew about this? She wouldn't keep it from him if he asked. She couldn't, he was after all her husband.
She sighed and leaned back on the couch. She pulled her phone out and looked at it. Still no response. She wished there was some word. "I think maybe I will go upstairs and research some more through what I have brought until Mary returns and brings word of what her and Darren spoke of." She smiled softly and picked up the other potion bottles off the table and looked at him.
"Thank you for help Exo." She said quietly before walking off upstairs and into the bedroom.
Once there she placed the potion bottles on the bed and pulled out all her books and notes. Her mind seemed clearer and she liked that. She had been in such a frenzy that she wasn't able to think clearly after being unable to track David. There had to be something somewhere. She scattered her notes and books and sat in the middle of the floor. Her nose was buried deed back into reading.

Exo nodded. "Of course Aisha. When Maria returns, we can talk more about your findings and her meeting. Don't forget to put up wards and if you need me? I'll be on the third floor." He watches her go before rubbing his the eyes on his face. He then looks down at the bandanna. He hated covering his eye, but the risk of having it visible publicly was too great. After a bit he got up, grabbing his bandanna and stuffing it into his pocket before heading to the spare bedroom on the third floor.

Aisha was beside herself as she put her books back down. Her mind wasn't focused as it should be. She needed clarity and David to come home. She sighed. At least the blood from Exo was of some help to her. It did seem to help calm her and give her some sort of balance to a degree but it wasn't much. She was still feeling it and though Mary wanted wards up and shields she knew that she didn't have the magic flowing freely into her yet to acquire the power needed to cast them. She put her books down. She needed to think about this another way. She rubbed her temples looking at all of her books scattered around. The one that stood out at the moment was one of the ones she had purchased from the Tremere book shop 'Black as Ink'. It was one that she had searched for, for so long and had finally gotten her hands on and though many of things in the book were frowned upon by the modern world she had been taught most of it during her upbringing. She needed air.
She placed her things down and went down the stairs. She knew Exo had said he would be on the third floor but she wasn't inclined to include him. If he happened to appear she only hoped that he wouldn't disrupt what she was thinking needed to be done. It would fill up some of time for the night and keep her occupied at least. But first and foremost she needed her Bronze statue of Shiva. She hoped Exo wouldn't be upset with her or Mary for that matter, she wasn't leaving for long. With lack of magic working through her, she wasn't going to tempt an appratious to her place. Instead she left a note on the inside of the door and headed off to her place. Note reads: The walk was simply that. A walk. Nothing of notice around her not that she was doing her best to look out. It didn't take her long before she arrived back at her home. She took the elevator up and stood at the entry way to her loft. David's loft. Their home here in London. She sighed and fought back tears. She wasn't going to break down again. If David was lost and it was on her to find him, becoming hysterical wasn't going to help him. Something Mary had reminded her of. She walked in her front door. The place was dank and dark and smelled of old food. She needed to clean the place up, she sighed. Later. She didn't have time for this. Maybe she would call her old house elf and pay her for her services. She shook it off. Another time.
She walked into her bedroom and knelt at her shrine. She wasn't going to cry. She prayed to her Goddess and gently picked up the statue and along with the adornments and walked back out. Noting the bed and David's side. She saw his clothes and for a moment she stood there. She missed him terribly. It had only been three days and she had to think the bond had something to do with the amount of hurt she was going through. She wondered as she stood there staring at his side of the bed, how much more pain would she have to go through before she found him? She shook it off and left her place.
The walk back wasn't much either. She had only been gone for a little over thirty minutes. She opened the door and stood there. She had forgotten her note on the back of the door and with the statue in her hand she walked out to the gardens. The gardens held another memory for her and it took her another moment to gather herself as she stared at the statue that held her not to long ago. She had been so foolish. She couldn't afford that foolishness now. To much relied on her abilities and she needed to find her inner strength that seemed to have been zapped away.
She had to close her eyes and regain her current state to some degree, she couldn't be trapped in the scene that flashed before her eyes of that darkened night. She sighed, took a few deep breathes and brushed it aside the best she could. She looked around the garden, it wasn't large but it wasn't small either and before to long she found a spot off to the side that suited her needs nicely. It was open for her yet shielded enough for the statue of Shiva. She placed the statue down on the ground and dropped to her knees. She needed to begin her devotions.
With her head bowed she began to pray to her goddess, beg for her forgiveness of not praying for so long. She began her private ritual of inviting Shiva into the statue, bringing her into Aisha's world, allowing her entry into Aisha. She needed a center for herself, a grounding of sorts to this world. David wasn't here and he couldn't be that for her. Her spirit needed to go on it's own journey. As she placed the adornments upon the statute she began to speak in her native tongue. Falling silent she pulls her body up in a single fluid motion, she was going to perform the Scared Dance that told the story of Shiva, bringing in the movements that linked the Chola tradition of warriors into it. Hoping that it adds a warrior strength into her as well.
With a foot presented forward she moved to music in her own mind, trying her best to avoid David's singing in her own mind. Instead his voice molded with her music and she began to dance under the moonlight, offering her dance to Shiva, welcoming her in. Though her garments weren't accurate for the dance, she hoped that Shiva wouldn't hold it against her as she began to move her hips and arms. Her body was fluid, the grace of a dancer upon her flesh. Something only she had ever shown David in her adult life. She could only pray and hope that she could perform to Shiva's satisfaction before she could began focusing on Ganesh.

Exo had heard her leave. He wasn't worried. He told her she should stay. She would come back...or get caught. But now that she had his blood, she was calmer and could think with reason. So he moved to meditate.
When she returned, he listened and tracked her movements through sound. After some time, he got up and headed down. He was currently topless and had since recovered up his third eye. Moving to the door that led outside, he leaned in the doorway to watch her dance.

When she had finally finished her dance she wa laying down on the ground, worshiping Shiva. She muttered in her native language and then sat back on her heels. She was glistening with sweat and her heart was pounding in her throat. She had danced for nearly ten minutes and it had awoken a different part of her. She missed dancing in her room. She sighed and looked down at the ground. She didn't feel any different. Maybe this was Ganesh. A punishment because they didn't marry properly. They didn't go to him before hand, do the proper rituals.
She held back her the tears, the heavy weight in her chest that seemed to bog her down. She lost her posture and her shoulders slumped. She did her best to take a deep breath. Her chest shook. She prayed to Ganesh. Prayed for forgiveness. They didn't follow any of the steps leading up to the marriage itself. The tilak, sagai, sangeet and mehand, none of them were followed properly. The event can take days and they eloped. Would the gods and goddesses put Renee in the path because they knew where I was headed? She put her hands over her face.
This ritual was suppose to help her feel better, help her find center but it didn't. She gained nothing from this but more frustration. She made a low rumble in her throat. She didn't want to accept that her gods may have forsaken her for her choices in this life. She had been so wrapped up in David, that they were fating her with loosing him. She stood, turned away from the statue. If they turned their backs on her when she needed them the most she could do the same. She turned back. Picked up the statue. Stared at it. Logically how could a god or goddess enter her through it? Sure as a magical being she understood things in a different manner, but this?
This was blind faith. This was blind ridiculous faith that didn't stand on any merits other than tradition passed down ancient generations. Besides if she was going to be embraced it wasn't like her spirit would move on to another life. At least not for quite a long time. So why believe in it? What was the purpose? What did it serve other than peace of mind? Peace of mind that she didn't have. She looked at the statue again. She sighed and threw it to the ground. She was done worshiping a statue. She didn't want this if it wasn't going to help. She didn't have the patience or the time to commit while she was looking for David and after? Who knew? She needed to find other ways to spend her time. Practical ways, not foolish ones and this was foolish. She freezes. David told her once that she was to always do her devotions. Always stand by her beliefs. She turned back and looked down at the statue again. "Why?" She said out loud to no one. "Why would I listen?! You aren't here! You are gone!" She screamed out into the night and looked up seeing Exo standing there. Her anger wasn't directed at him but she wasn't a happy camper at the present moment and though she had been calmed she now had something else fueling her. She wasn't going to devote any more wasted time to this foolishness. She simply nodded her head at him and walked into the house. She wasn't sure where she was going or what she was doing.
She pulled her wand out and let her anger fuel her as she began to cast spells over the entire house. She put up wards and shields and when she was done, her anger had dissipated some but not completely.

Exo watched her go through it all. The dance, the devotion...the anger. She went back inside and Exo didn't say anything but moved into the garden, remembering the steps she took. It looked beautiful, almost like a ritual. He turns and blinks, looking down at the thrown statue. He reaches and picks it up, setting up in the corner she had placed it before and brushing it off. "Everyone should have their beliefs..." he says quietly. He stands there, watching it for some time.

Aisha figured Exo would have some words to say to her, figured he would follow her with something profound but nothing. She sighed and leaned against a wall. She wondered how long he had watched her for.
She went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and walked back out to the garden. "Why did you pick that up?" She came off a little harsher than she had meant to but she made no move to calm herself.

"Everyone should have their beliefs. I have mine. Maria has hers. You should have yours. Sometimes they can get frustrating... but we must not idly throw them away." He turns to look at her. "You dance with grace...what were you dancing specifically?"

Aisha shrugged softly but appreciated the fact that he had picked Shiva up from the ground and replaced the statue back where it was.
"It is called the Scared Dance. It is a dance that shows the story of Shiva." She said. "I was dancing the story, hoping she would come into me through the statue." It was the best way she could explain it to him. It was hard to explain to people that didn't know all the different things that went with her religion.
Suddenly her phone goes off and she fumbles for it puling it out and looking to see that it was from David. "He messaged me back!" She said hastingly and then unlocked he phone to read the message. She read it several times not only in her head but out loud. She went through other texts that they had sent to each other.
"No. No." She said. "This isn't right Exo! This isn't right at all!" She exclaimed looking at it. "David doesn't text like this. This isn't him. David told me..." She started to shake, tears forming again. "Told me that Rene was after him. Not me. He was never after me. He wanted Rene. Rene said just as much when he took David. This isn't David texting me. David would of used his pet name for me, one of them anyway. He wouldn't tell me this. He would of given me something. A bone of sorts. This can't be from him."
She fell to the ground and cried holding the phone to her chest, her body just withered on the floor into a pile of emotional mess again. She just couldn't. "How are we ever going to find him? Get him back?" She was sobbing between her words again. She just couldn't function.

Exo watched her crumble and knew she needed to calm down. He walked over and did the only thing that he could think of right in this moment. He sat behind her and pulled her into his lap, wrapping arms around her and stroking her hair to comfort her. "If it's not David...then someone is trying to get to you to mess with him," he whispers in her ear. "We will find him. Maria will get home soon after her meeting with Darren. But we need you calm. You need to be able to think clearly. Together we will unite you back with your love."

Aisha didn't fight Exo, she just curled in his lap and cried. She missed the comfort of David and for now this was what she had. Besides didn't they just bond earlier? He was trying to help her and so she let him.
After several minutes of her tears running she sniffled. "I fear I am not as strong as I come off." She laughs softly thinking about what she has said in the past. "It hurts so much." She whispered afterwards.

Mary steps out of the trees. She looks determined. She sees Exo and Aisha, and walks towards them, crouching down in front of them.
"Darren is on the job. He will be searching David's personal effects for details on Rene, and their publicist will be contacting me tomorrow night. I have work for them. It may make things awkward for you, Aisha, but you will be strong enough, I promise."
She looks at Exo.
"I need to get something I want Aisha to use. Bring her in while I fetch it. The neighbours don't need to see what we do."
She leans forward and kisses his bandana over his third eye, and then slips into the shadows again.

Exo nods and moves to get up, gently picking her up and taking her inside. Once inside, he goes to sit in his chair, re-positioning her in his lap so she still has the same comfort. He continues to hold and soothe her until Mary returns.

Aisha looked up at Mary as she came back, she didn't say anything at first as Exo carried her behind Mary into the house. Sitting in his lap, she felt cradled, secured her mind reeling still as she looked to him and back over to see if Mary had come down.
"Awkward? How? I will do what I must." She calmed herself down and looked at the phone still clutched to her chest. She still hadn't responded and she wasn't sure if she should or not. Maybe she could put a plea in there to at least see him, to hear him. Something to bring about communication.
