[Aug 25th] Hello from the other side

Dmitry had every intention of joining Mattie and their dad in going to New York to visit Teagan., however he couldn't. Prior to there leaving Dmitry was invited to attend a conference being held in London. This conference was for all who where members of the international dueling circuit and seeing as he was one of the youngest members set for pro status he felt he had to go.

Before they left Dristan had left instructions for both Elijah and him. They included the address and how to get to New York. Dmitry had rarely traveled by flu powder but Elijah was more then happy to accompany the young man. As the conference closed Dmitry hurried home hoping he wasn't to late, but it seemed that he had missed them leaving. Quickly he grabbed his shoulder pack, threw some cloths and few other things in, changed and was back out the door.


In no time Dmitry was stating out side of MCUSA headquarters. Checking Dristans note he hailed a cab and headed off for Teagan's flat. hoping to find the whole family in high sprites. What he wasn't expecting was to walk in to a presumably empty house.  "Mom, Dad, Mattie?" he called out and listened for a second. What came back from down the hall told him far more then he really wanted to know. Quickly he scratched out a note and headed out hading it to Elijah, "here make sure they get the message when they're not so busy! I have my phone I'll be back later". He was cheeks slightly red as if he was blushing. Elijah looked over the note, walked in to the house and immediately understood what was going on. He simply chuckled and went about stringing up. He would only stay around long enough to see Teagan then he would head back off to London to tend to the estate.

After Dristan and Teagan calmed down they heard a knock on the door and a voice form the other side," Sir, mis, Dmitry and I arrived a short time ago. He's out site seeing but he has his phone. He left just as soon as we got here, said he didn't want to 'interrupt' anything and he will be back later unless you give him a call." There was an amused tone to the old man's voice. Once the message was delivered he set off back down the hall to wait for the pair to emerge.
   

Dmitry hadn't gotten far reilizing his phone was aboutnout of battery. He was only steps behind Mattie I getting back to the house. "hey sis!" he said walking throuhgh the door. "where have you been hiding? I gave a shout when we got here. bout the only thing I got back was mom and dad.... working things out." he crossed the room to where his pack sat and began rumaging throught it.

Teagan nods slowly to him. In this moment she didn't want him to leave, though she knew it was coming. He had to return to the school. She fell back at the knock on the door laying on his chest and couldn't help but laugh just a bit. "Nope. Not at all."

She playfully pouts at him when he says they should go see who else was out there. His kiss, the warmth of his lips on hers sent a shiver down her spine. "I would hope its far from over I hope you'll reconsider the hotel" she whispers pulling herself from the bed. She dressed, back into her flowy skirt and tank top. This time however she pulls her hair up off her neck. She takes an almost nervous breath before following him back out into the living area.

She wasn't exactly expecting Dmitry and Elijah but it was nice to have all of them together again. There was a smile on her face, as she walked up to offer a hug to the old man. He returned it with a smile. "Miss Teagan. Its good to see you again" She simply smiles to him looking at Dmitry and Mattie now.

Dmitry glanced sideways at Matties question. "Now what is someone your age asking a question like that for." He said under his breath. He stood up and looked back around at his parents. They where looking a lot happier at least his dad was he hadn't seen his mom in a while but he could tell that things were looking up. "Hey dad, I have the forms at home. Sounds like we should be good to go to enter a team this year if we get enough interest and make a soild effort at training and put up a few good performances during the late season." He was beaming things again were falling in to place.

She looks to Mattie at her question. "Daddy's right. We have a lot to,talk about and much to work out. And since you will be off to school here, I will be here to get some work. It will give me something to,do,while you are away. And I will see all of you here for Christmas." She said with a smile.

She let Dristan and Dmitry talk a moment before he mentioned the new york hot dog stand. The look he gave her said it all.

"Oh! Right. There is a guy just down the street. Near the enterance to Central Park."

Dmitry laughed when Mattie when she called their parents out. "Yeah guys we can take a hit." He grabbed his battery pack, threw his best on, tucked his wand and a couple other things in to his pockets and follow Mattie, "right behind ya sis."

Teagan walked the two leave abd slowly after Elijah follows. She shakes her head at the two as the door shuts.

She knkws the smile all to well as she is thrown over his shoulder and back,to,the room.

Teagan smiled curling again Dristan body her head resting where it belongs on his chest. "Hmm it would seem that way" she teased leaning up to kiss him.

"So my knight. You have several days in New York. What would you like to do with that time?" She asked, hazel eyes meet,g his.

She wiped the tear from his cheek and looked at him. This was all so overwhelming but in this moment, she didnt care. He was here, they were talking, and there was a chance that things may work out in the end....At least somehow. She wasn't sure what it was at this very moment, but the man she had missed for so many weeks, even before her coming back to New York was there before her. The man she had first fallen in love with.

"I wasn't really expecting this either" She said softly. I thought it would just be a quick conversation, and you would leave, staying away until you had to leave to go back to school..." She returned his kiss, leaning into it almost. She drapes an arm across his chest taking in his scent once more. "Well, I guess it depends on if you want you plan to stay close this next few days or go off on your own"

Teagan's eyes seem to light up when Dristan mentions staying with her for the next few days. "Of course its alright. I just didn't want to assume you wanted to stay here" Her eyes closed when his hands ran through her hair.

"It's possible. It depends on where we want this to go...if anywhere. Do we leave well enough alone know we're on the same page? Wait to see what happens in the future? Or walk away knowing we'll never truly be with each other again...." The last statement seemed to pain her. She loved him. Truly and whole heartedly, band it would hurt if in the end nothing more would happen between the two.

Her eyes gazed to his. Taking him all in. She wanted to remember everything once more. From the moment they seemed to be back at the same page with everything. "But yes. We do indeed need to figure this out...Regardless of the end result. We need to know what is going to happen from here on out....at least something"

She lays there watching him call the hotel to cancel. Teagan rested there, her head resting on her hand. Her free hand tracing over the outline of the raven tattoo on his chest. She always did love that he had done that for her. She bites her lip a moment as traced the outline. Her eyes look back to him when he whispers kissing him in return. She didn't fight the fact he had tried to roll over her and now gazed down at her. The shimmer in his art made her smile.

"Well. It seems only fair, considering you have her all year at school" She nods. "What about you? What will you be doing on the holiday's?"

"You dont have to stay locked away in that castle over the holiday's" She murmured, shifting so she could look up at him.

She wasn't sure if he could come back to New York after dropping off Matilda. Dmitry would be able to choose if he wanted to come to New York. But she didn't want him alone either. That wasn't fair. "Another Option is we agree to keep Holiday's a family affair. It would mean you wouldn't have to be alone on the holidays...The family could be together for such things. You all could even come here. And I can show you a true New York Christmas. The lighting Ceremony, The Ball Drop in Time Square... All the decorations and events...."

She fell quiet though. "If you'd rather be locked away in a dreary castle and risk being eatten by the monsters in your forest. I do hope you know your forests are not a safe place to have at a school.."

Mattie can back witb Dmitry in toe and a smile on her face. "So did you like their hotdogs? What abouy Central Park?! I know I showed you the spot I met mom at, isn't it wonderful. I love this place. Maybe later we can take you to Broadway. Do you like musicals Dmitry?" she skipped over dropped her stuff on the counter and Morticia found a spot on the couch and curled up to sleep.

Mattie opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water and tossed one back to Dmitry and Elijah. "Elijah do you like musicals? They really are magnificent if you go to the right ones." She grabbed a seat next to Morticia and drank her water and pouring some into the bowl for her kitten that was on the window sill. She yawned and leaned back.

"Oh!! I gotta tell you before you showed up! I got to meet a real life werewolf! He was beautiful, smelly but awesome to talk to." she jumped up grabbed her journal and came back. Before long she was lost in the drawing of her new friend Caleb. Both forms of him being sketched out.

"I had to save Lili from the spuders in live within it last year. Both of us came out busted up pretty bad for a few days." Dristan sighs remembering.

Before he could say anything he heard Mattie's voice and smiled. "To be continued..." He winks at Teagan and softly kisses her.

He sits up and get dressed once waiting dir Teagan and then opens the door and walks out. "So what allbthus about?" He smiles to the kids.

Mattie was honestly already half asleep and she perked up hearing the door open. "Hey so Dmitry has seen Central Park and a few blocks around here. Had a hotdog and a pizza both New York style and I was just asking about if he and Elijah like Broadway. Wicked is playing tonight and I have always wanted to see it." she smiles brightly and continues to draw Caleb. His facial features almost complete and the outline of the wolf done.
