Arthur: Billy rubs his five day stubble and looks around the room. Then he looks up and smiles. 'Up there!' he points to the attic.
Matilda: You continue your search of the outhouse and the woman moves, she has turned more to face you. Her long blonde blood stained hair covers her face. But you are sure you can hear her whisper you name again.

Certain that this woman is calling her name. She slowly makes her way to this woman who seems to be saying her name.
"What is going on. Are you okay? Do you need my help and why do you keep saying my name. How do you know it"
She is trying to keep calm for this woman but is starting to struggle.

Arthur nods to Billy. "Right you are." He searches the building supplies to find a ladder or something to stack to give them easy access, then heads back upstairs to the attic opening.
"You wanna go up or would I?" He asks his friend, then laughs. "You're the more battered, I'll go. All I can get is another scar, and chicks dig scars." He laughs as he climbs up to peek with his torch into the attic.

Arthur: You find a ladder easily and Billy holds it steady. You cant help but think about what happened last time you ascended to the attic. At least this time you couldn't hear any scratching noises, or could you?
Matilda: Moving closer you can see a little clearer that the woman is wearing a mask. You realise its the Red Mask, not as you had seen her before but in her tortured and mutilated form. She lifts a bloody hand and in it is one of her Masks. She seems to be offering it to you. As you look at her something is terribly familiar about her.

Once closer and is shocked at the woman who seems to be wearing a mask. Upon another look Matilda notices it is the Red Mask. "What the heck is going on?" Matilda thinks to herself.
"Why are you offering the mask to me?" as she takes this mask from her. Something seems familiar but can't seem to work out why.

Arthur pauses, and listens again. Nah, he was imagining things. It was fine, they'd dismissed it, sent it back to where it came from. It wasn't here anymore. He pulls out his talisman, holding it in his free hand, then pushes the hatch fully up and looks around with the torch.

Arthur: Opening the latch sends down a cloud of dust that can be seen in the torch light. When you have the latch fully open you can see up into the darkness of the attic. With talisman held out you scan the attic you see allot of bones and skulls. For whatever reason no-one seems to have searched here, neither the police or the builders. In one corner there seems to be a heaped pile of bones.
Matilda: The womans whisper barely reaches your ears, 'You need to survive! Mr.Black wants you and he can't have you.'

Arthur coughs, and fans his hand in front of his face to clear the dust.
"Something, maybe," he calls down to Billy. "I'm going up for a better look!"
He pulls himself fully up into the attic, and moves over to check out the bones.

The bones crunch under your feet as you walk, sending more clouds up into the air. It smells old and filled with decay in the attic, the heat is almost to much. Carefully picking your way to the pile, you begin to notice pieces of torn clothing, broken watches, snapped jewellery, a few wallets and what seems to be a half eaten work boot.
You see a shoe with a leg attached to it,sticking out from the heap of bones.

Arthur turns away momentarily. Even for him it's a sickening sight.
"Lots of death up here," he calls down.
He begins to pick through the pile, pulling aside anything valuable or identifying, looking for clues. There could be something deep in this mess.

Matilda hears the whisper that this woman is making about needing to survive and that Mr Black can't have her. She looks at the woman telling her this.
"I know that he wants me. Why are you warning me this" she says to the woman. The fact that something is familiar about her bugs her. "And one more thing. Who are you because I feel like I know you" she then says to this woman.

Arthur: Moving the bones you uncover more of the body, a well dressed man, splattered with blood. His shirt has been torn open and his stomach sliced from left to right. Above the gut wound on the mans chest the Yellow Sign has been carved. You push back more of the bones to uncover the face of this man. It is Bertrand Merryweather.
Billy pops his head up, 'Holy shit! Thats allot of bones! What you find?'
Matilda: The Red Mask tilts her head listening to you. Then rushes you, before you can react you have been knocked on your butt. The Red cloak wrapped around you and no sign of the slashed woman.

"Shit," he exclaimed. "I found Merryweather," he turns and says to Billy. "He's dead." Arthur looks for signs of how he died, etc. "And someone has carved the King's symbol on his chest. This is getting too weird. Where's Matilda?"
Arthur suddenly becomes worried for Matilda, outside alone.

Matilda sees the woman tilt her head and is shocked when it is the Red Mask and not the woman she was speaking to. She sees the red mask run to her and she freezes, unable to respond as she falls on her bum.
She sees the red cloak wrapped around her and starts to worry."What are you doing?Where is the woman I spoke with?" She says in a blind panic.

Matilda: The Red Mask moves for the door and looks over her shoulder. 'We are the same! Phone your Mother and Father, they need you!' then she slips out the door.

"Get up here, Billy. Or call the police. Either way he shouldn't stay here."
Arthur moved, so Bill could see the corpse. "Though, I'm not sure the police might think kindly of that mark on his chest, and me with this." He holds up his talisman.
"I'm going to go find Matilda." He pushes past his friend to climb down, heading outside.

Arthur: When you climb down Billy climbs up. 'I'll move it or now!' he calls as you leave the farm house. Just in time to see a red cloak disappear around the corner of the outhouse.

Arthur sees the red cloak, and moves a little faster.
"Matilda? Where are you? Matilda?!"
He runs down to the outhouse, looking for Matilda.

"Wait what do you mean by that? How are we the same!" She shouted to the Red Mask "just tell me how" She sees the cape disappear outside and she can just hear Arthur. She goes outside to try and find him.
"I'm over here" she says so he can find her.

Arthur comes running over, wraps her up in his arms.
"What happened? Are you all right? Who was that woman?"
He looks around, making sure no one else is lurking.

"Oh thank goodness you're here" she says to him as soon as he wraps her in his arms.
"There was a woman there who warned me and seemed to know who I was, then all of a sudden ran at me and left" she pauses and takes out her phone "The Red Mask also said to phone my parents as they need me. I'm going to do that now"
She heads close to the car and types in their number and waits for an answer.

Matilda:The phone rings several times and then is answered, your mother answers sounding worried. 'Hello! Is that you Martha?' you can hear the concern and hope in her voice.
Arthur:At the moment you can stand and listen to Matilda's side of the conversation or help Billy with the body of Bertrand.

The worry showing in her voice. What had happened to her twin. Thoughts ran through her mind as she began to assume the worst had happened to Martha.

I'm so glad your alright, I just don't know what to do?' she begins to cry and after a few moments you can hear the voice of your father coming closer and then the hand set must exchange hands because now your Father is on the phone, 'Matilda dear, are you okay?'

Matilda is in shock at hearing that her sister has gone missing and hearing her mother cry almost made her start to cry. She hears her father come on the line "Dad I'm okay.I'm safe but why didn't anybody tell me she was missing?" she starts to cry a little bit soon after she says that.
"How long has she been gone for dad?"

Matilda's Dad lets out a slightly quavering sigh, 'I'm sorry Mattie sweetie, I didn't want to bother you, please don't be mad.' he pauses for a moment and then takes a deep breath then continues, 'Your mother and I have been trying to find her ourselves, and we have tried to phone you. But you when we spoke you sounded so happy, I wanted to find something out before I told you anything. You know what Martha is like, she likes to party and at first I thought that was all it was, but now she's been missing for a month.' You can hear in his voice he is barely holding it together.

"I'm not angry dad, I'm just upset. I know she likes to party... But a whole month. This is not like her at all" she starts to cry some more, mostly out of guilt form being happy whilst this has been going on.
"Is there anything I can do to help. I want to find her. Please let me help find her" she says whilst crying.

Arthur stands by Matilda, moving up to slip his arm around her shoulders for comfort.
"I'm here, love. Let me help."
He feels bad about interrupting, but he can tell she's upset, and wants to help.

Matilda is still crying as she feels Arthur put his arm around her. She knew that she hadn't seen Martha since she came back from London, but they were twins and she would feel incomplete without her. She dries her tears the best she can, trying to be the sensible strong one.
"Where was the last place she went to and do you want me to come back home?" She asks her dad.
